My teenage daughter chose this campsite as it had lots of activities. We booked for 3 days for our family and friends. One of my friends was not looking forward to it. However, by the end we were all pleasantly surprised. The campsite price is reasonable but you must factor in the cost of activities e.g 30 minutes one Segway... More

Returned to the campsite for 2nd consecutive year as we didn't do everything we wanted to last year. Still more pricy than most campsites but that is made up for the amount of activities that are available. Campsite facilities amongst the best we've encountered; really good sized pitches, electric on pitch, water not very far away, loos/washing up reasonable distance... More

This was our first visit to this site in our touring caravan having stayed at other Castells sites and being very impressed with them. Our first impression was of how large the site is, with a wide variety of statics, eurocamp tents, chalets and tourers. Our pitch was right down the far end – 403 – and was overlooking the... More

2 adults 2 kids and dog large caravan pitch with electric hookup. Last 2 days of this summers holiday at Ty Nadan. Weather has been great which just adds to the fantastic time again we have had. Kayaking, swimming in river, zip wire, adventure park, paint balling, football, archery and my favourite Segway trip through forest all taken advantage of... More

We have just returned from a week at Ty Nadan. The site is in a beautiful setting next to a river. Our accommodation wasn't ready on arrival and we had to wait till past 4pm to get in to it which was one of the only negatives after an overnight ferry and arriving before 11am it was a wasted first... Just no really. Didn't like the noise, the completely inconsiderate people who are up shouting and slamming car doors long past midnight. Didn't like the fact my 12 year old nearly had her neck broken by loutish Dutch and French teenagers throwing themselves down the water slides with no care for it being clear below in the pool. Didn't like... More

I will start with the negatives first. Be aware of the pitch number you are given or the location of your accommodation. The swimming pool area houses very noisy plant that hums at quite a volume 24/7 so if you are unlucky you could get stuck with that noise which would drive a normal person insane. Also, some of the... More

We booked for 7 days and had a caravan pitch overlooking the river. Thankfully I booked an extra large pitch as some of the pitches offered, which will supposedly take a twin axle caravan, had the rear of the van rammed in the hedge whilst the hitch was sticking out into the road, leaving the occupants to hope that passing... Does what it says on the tin. Staff very helpful, good range of activities and great pools, although not as good as they looked on the website. Overall it is a good campsite, nothing that really stood out about it. We would recommend it to active families and parents who won't mind climbing trees, getting splattered with paint and falling... We just returned from a 2 wk stay here (end July/beg August). Overall we have had a good break and it was very relaxing but at the same time I feel things could be better. We stayed in the Kevell on the river, needed some maintenance as had splinters on the deck, the moveable cover was not v moveable, and... More
