My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised , that although our room wasn’t ready until after 3, we had been upgraded to the penthouse. The reception staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and directed us down to the bar which over looked the pool and sunbathing area that fronted onto the small beach.

Our room was amazing and had everything we needed. Cleaned almost daily, the one time it was missed was our choice, and fresh towels when required. Although quite close to the road there was no road noise and the beds were extremely comfortable.

We were room only but did eat in the hotel a couple of times and the food was reasonable priced and good quality. There were a few other places to eat along the beach or of course you could taxi into the neighbouring villages. We would highly recommend Mangoz just along the beach from the hotel.

The negatives are that there were only 5 sun beds by the pool and no umbrellas. We asked a member of staff about it but she looked very vague and replied that that was all there was and we should try the beach. There was a gentleman on the beach with a handful of rickety beds so we had to pay to hire these for the day.

We had an evening flight and understandably couldn’t keep our room any later, but the was no where for us to freshen up and change. We ended up checking out of the hotel and spending the day on Young Island at extra expense. Saying this, it was an incredible experience and well worth doing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beachcombers. It is the smartest of the hotels along this bay and we were pleased we chose it over some of the neighbouring places which looked a bit shabby in comparison. We had a lovely room with great view from our balcony but some rooms don’t have much of a view so we were lucky. Restaurant is a very light and airy space and staff friendly. Menu choices and food quality good be improved in my opinion. Pool area very pleasant with easy access to beach. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues as slopes and steps everywhere.

We (2 couples) initially booked 2 nights at Beachcombers Hotel so that we could quarantine in an "approved" hotel in advance of a cruise we were taking. Our rooms were very nice, with lots of space and a balcony. We had our breakfasts and dinners in their dining room, which is open and faces the ocean, because the isolation requirements had been lifted. Their staff at the desk and in the restaurant were all extremely friendly and helpful. Donovan, our waiter, was very attentive. Marva was both a hostess and server, with a constant smile on her face. She even brought out some home-made banana bread to share with us. If we go back to St Vincent, we'll certainly stay again at Beachcombers Hotel.

Because we had a whole day before our cruise began, we asked their front desk for recommendations on "things to do" on the island. They recommended a Tour Guide named Swazo, and he was GREAT ! He took us up the western side of the island and we stopped a bunch of beautiful and interesting places, including one of the sites where they filmed a lot of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean".

As a Vincy visiting each year from England I have always enjoyed visiting Beachcombers for breakfast and lunch. Today however was a little disappointing when visiting for lunch. The menu options were limited. I ordered chicken wings and seemed to be 6 pieces of wing with a small salad and flat bread. For what it was I felt the price was too high. It tasted ok. After asking for the bill and paying no change was returned. After sitting for almost 10 minutes and realising the change was not going to be returned but presumably taken as a tip although the bill included service charge and the tax, I just left. It should not matter if it was only a small amount of change due, the presumption to not return is what is wrong.

The staff at this restaurant is its most saving grace; they are kind and hospitable, and you feel great just being there. Having said that, we always eat at this restaurant when we are in St. Vincent. The meal is often of very high quality. The food this time, though, was of terrible quality. The chicken burger smelled fishy, so I'm assuming they fried both in the same oil. The catch of the day fish was hard and dry, and the accompanying sauce was lumpy. Let's now discuss the costs for the food's quality. We don't mind spending money on nice cuisine, but when you have to pay excessive costs for substandard food it is not worth it.

Restaurant. It’s going for elegant swanky look but there’s no atmosphere. And doesn’t feel welcoming. As a solo female I was apparently invisible to the wine waitress (who is one of family owners). It’s odd, it’s like the owners select tables where they think customers are of value, give attention but everyone else is ignored. My starter and main course arrived at same time ! pumpkin salad was delicious. The Turkish maitre d’ did remedy situation. They need to hold on to him as only one who understands customer service.

We’ve only been here a day and already love it. Apart from the gorgeous gardens and beautiful view from the restaurant, the staff make it really special. A seating area and pool overlooking the ocean and Youngs island has just been completed and it’s stunning. A relaxing place to sit and read or snooze. We ate at the restaurant tonight and had the best service from Freedom. The food was excellent too and they’re using local produce wherever possible. The manager was lovely, full of interesting tips and facts to improve our visit. St Vincent is really special. We are loving the place and have 9 more days to enjoy it. We highly recommend the hotel, restaurant and, from the little we’ve seen so far, the islands and the local people.

We were here for 3 nights and it was very nice but there were things that could have been done to improve it very easily.
The welcome and front desk staff were great, booking taxis and restaurants for us.
Housekeeping were good and our room was very clean. We had one chair on the balcony for 2 of us! Our shower was, a trickle and the air conditioning wasn't as good as it good have been, possibly because of where it was situated in a large room.
We had dinner in the restaurant twice and it was very nice, food was good.
The breakfast service on the one occasion we used it was soooo slow. It took 2 hours to order, receive and eat our breakfast.
The beach, I'm assuming because of the hurricane is much reduced in size. The swimming pool was very pleasant but there aren't many loungers or much shade.
I wouldn't not stay here again but I would look at what else is on offer too.
