Three friends and I just returned from a trip to Louisiana and the highlight of our trip was our stay at Bocage Plantation. We had the blue and gold rooms. They were lovely. The rooms are huge and the furnishings are gorgeous and authentic to the 19th century restoration of the house. As everyone else has mentioned, Roberto is the...

A year ago my wife and I stopped by for a tour and immediately decided that we wanted to stay here. We came back this year an couldn't have had a better stay. Roberto, our host, was very informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. We enjoyed the never empty wine carafe and hors d' oeuvres. The furniture throughout is museum quality and...

This a fabulous place to stay for any occasion but I was lucky enough to spend my birthday. The website does not do the rooms, and the entire house justice it is the most amazing place.Roberto was fantastic and an informative host explaining the history of both the plantation and the antique collection. Breakfast was a feast and we were...

We stayed at the plantation 4 April and were very impressed with the beautiful house and room. We stayed in the Red Room, which was absolutely gorgeous. We had an excellent dinner at a lovely nearby restaurant called the Cabin, recommended by Roberto as the plantation does not have a restaurant. Breakfast was cooked and served in the dining room,...

I had been planning to stay at another plantation, but found the reviews on Bocage enticing. We stayed there during first week of March 2014. The interior is full of beautiful antiques and the rooms and bathrooms are updated and luxurious. The house is even more impressive in person than by photos on the internet. We stayed in the red...

The Bocage Plantation is a magnificent house that envelops you in the glory of the early Antebellum period. We unfortunately stayed only one night at the bed and breakfast . The grounds were beautiful and peaceful and the room was breathtakingly and authentically decorated with every modern comfort and convenience. But the most charming and memorable aspect of Bocage was...

When we couldn't book a room at Houmas House because of a large wedding, we accidently found this on the web. We like to stay at B & B's in the "Select Registry" ( for luxury destination B&B's) - this would have been right at the top. Roberto Trevino, the young Innkeeper /Manager has a vested interest in the place...

My husband and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary touring the plantations along the Great River Road. We had stayed at several of the plantations 20 years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bocage. The furnishings were very nice, with period antiques galore. The atmosphere was relaxing and the innkeeper very accommodating. We enjoyed wine on the porch and...

We stayed in February while on our honeymoon back from the Caymans. Bocage Plantation was a wonderful surprise while Roberto was very accommodating. The breakfast was amazing, the bacon was so yummy we could have eaten it all day, while the eggs had a touch of spice that was a delight to eat. Our only complaint is we wish we...
