We were blessed to roll off Hwy 20 that extra 6 miles to find this lovely RV park on a pristine lake for the night. A beautiful heavy wooded old growth trees, carved into flat private spaces for our 30’ RV was the perfect spot to relax and hear the birds, smell the forest and sit by a lake. Sites also have a table, Charcoal BBQ, Firepit and full hookups. Shower and Restrooms very clean and rustic. There is a Gazebo and dock to enjoy your wine at sunset overlooking the lake too! Bam! Winner, not to mention the hosts are the true treasures.
This place is quiet and picturesque. It has everything you need including water, sewage, electric, And Wi-Fi. There’s a lake you can go boating on. It’s right off of the highway and a great halfway mark to Shreveport. Will be visiting there often.
Beautiful spot, quiet & peaceful! Great views of the lake, spacious sites with plenty of trees. Owners are wonderful! Very secluded but close enough to shopping if you need it. If you are a history buff Leesville where Fort Polk is located is a short drive.
We traveled to the area to see some friends. The campground was quiet, which we like. No real amenities except the lake. If you have kids, and need activities, this isn't the place. There may be more in the summer. But we liked it because it was quiet and no golf carts zooming around! Very quiet and peaceful country setting. The owners were nice and friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Would go back!
We read about this place through TripAdvisor. We needed an rv campground for my visits to a medical clinic in Shreveport and this was our choice. The Cotile rec areas sites were too small so went to this one. Very quiet and peaceful full hookups and a short walk to lake. Surrounded by trees this was a wonderful spot for us. We stayed two weeks as the rate is cheaper. Angie and Tim Baggett are the best camp hosts we have found. Whatever you need they will do. There are two showers and a laundry. The wifi was accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
