No notification given our 2 rooms would not be serviced for our 3 night stay; Not at check and not at booking. Paid $199 per night + taxes, for no clean towels, no clean lien and no toiletries for entire stay. Our stay was not pleasant and not relaxing, traveled 4 hours for a weekend get away, did better staying home. Unacceptable wait time to request clean towels and shampoo. When leaving wait time for elevator was 25 mins only 2 elevators working, yet 6 elevators, 4 not working for a hotel with 25 floors. No USB ports in room, had to unplug lamps to plug in phones. Don’t recommend staying at this hotel, not ready to service guest.

New management is trying to make this another El Dorado which people left years ago for Horseshoe. Now they are going to Margaritaville. The hotel needs to be renovated desperately. The beds are lumpy and the rooms are worn out. In fact the whole place is worn out. Management has chosen to invest in additional tables and rooms on the main floor which were empty even on a weekend offering a multiplier promotion. Did I mention the Diamond Lounge which was converted to a private bar - what a joke! it's now called the Red Star and resembles a Gentleman's Club. It was not that busy even on a weekend. I heard several people say they were not coming back. That's a shame - Horseshoe used to be the best!!!! The staff who are left after new management and a few new ones are the best asset of the hotel. One last note - there is an upcharge if you check-in before 4pm.

Since new management took over this hotel and casino has went downhill.Rooms are worn out, if you can get one. Understaffed. The music they play over and over is HORRIBLE. I don’t know what they think the demographics of their clientele is, but not the hip hop rap crowd. They did away with the Diamond lounge and put in a ultra modern highly guarded stay away type bar. The whole experience is just not enjoyable anymore.

Horseshoe used to be top notch luxury and so fun. We have been going since the boat opened, way before the hotel was built. After COVID we were so excited to go back. It was so depressing. The slots were as cold as ice. We were supposed to have stayed two nights but came home after less than 24 hours. The staff has always been friendly but not anymore. Everyone was miserable. No coffee in the rooms anymore, no maid service. All around miserable experience. Won’t go back. Was once a Diamond Member. Very sad! We went to celebrate our anniversary. Never again.

Where should I start? First there was no valet. That wasn't a huge surprise but what bothered me was the hundreds of unused parking spaces on the ground floor blocked off and not available. I've been a Caesars Rewards member for many years and discovered that my accumulated players points had expired during the pandemic. Considering that all Caesars properties were closed for several months it was impossible to keep my points active. In good faith it would had been nice if they had waived the expiration date under the circumstances. Since I had no points there were no room comps available and I couldn't even get a free breakfast for my time in the casino. Overall I was disappointed with my experience which was never the case in the past. I'll probably stay at a different hotel on my next trip.
