Limited items offered. Like old bananas, watered down orange juice, the only warm item is the waffle. I spotted a roach in my room BUT the staff were so very friendly. There seemed to be no real security as one of the neighboring rooms had a loud drinking party outside of their room late into the night. There are washer...

Stopped here while traveling through with the family. It looks as though it may have been a motel at one point, but is being converted to a La Quinta. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast area was very small, only like 4 tables and was crowded. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We have stayed at a string of LQ hotels this month on a cross country move. We choose LQ because they are pet friendly, have free breakfast, and usually have pools (our kids are 2 and 6). This hotel has the most unprofessional staff. They had friends visiting and chatting when we arrived and didn't bother to keep the personal...

We came into town for a meet at LUS, this hotel was close to university so we chose it. The staff was friendly and nice, another reason we chose it was for free continental breakfast. The breakfast was anything but nice, we had to go out an buy breakfast, all they had was bread, cereal, and waffles. Also coffe and...

Excellent experience and very nice accommodations. Great rib place across the street. Shopping is available and near LSU campus. Easy off and on exit ramps to Highway 10. The staff was friendly and welcomes you with a smile. Breakfast is light and just what you need.

Old and run down; poor maintenance exterior and interior. Staff at check-in were ok at best. If looking for breakfast you won't find much-coffee, muffins and maybe a piece of fruit. Not a typical LaQuinta hotel; all rooms are exterior opening doors with questionable security-bring your own gun.

This hotel is very well placed and very economical compared with other choices. It is easy access off the freeway and offers a nearly direct route to downtown locations for meetings. The breakfast bar is very minimalistic, but adequate. The staff is friendly.

Poor condition of rooms, heavy cigarette smoke even though room was non-smoking. Burns on very worn carpet. lack of cleaning in bathroom as there was hair in the lavatory sink. Bad experience with other guests partying outside until 3am. Certainly not to LaQuinta quality standards.

I wish I would have read the reviews prior to staying. I stayed at another La Quinta & assumed they would all be nice. Wrong! The room stunk like cigarette smoke & musty, stale, mildew. The a/c was filthy. The sheets & linens were dirty. The guy staying next to us had his door propped open & was smoking marijuana....

This LaQuinta is the closest and most reasonable motel to LSU. After four years of visiting my daughter, we will miss the friendly staff and easy distance to campus. This motel is not fancy, but clean and updated WIFI works. Also pet friendly.
