asked for an upgrade but seems that didn't. happen... Check in person not very helpful. gave me a list of restaurants which was illegible. The lobby area is dark and dismal, all the lights are off. surely they could spare a couple bottles of water in the room since we were charged for the executive floor which wasn't open. they don't have any convenience items, so ended up going to the indigo hotel across the street. should post on website there is NO FOOD in this place, be WARNED there is LITTLE CHOICE on a Sunday night!!!!!!! we had a balcony but it was pretty cold so of little use. and i would imagine it's pretty loud if /when the pool area is in use as the balcony is directly over the pool. best hotel for "river view" but probably try the marriot next time.

We decided we couldn’t make it the whole 10 hours with our toddler and stopped for the night. We were greeted by the valet and helped get a bag out for us. All wore masks. Toya at the front desk was absolutely lovely and helpful. The property is beautiful and spotless. We ordered room service for dinner and breakfast. Wonderful rooms, very clean and well appointed.

I had a great stay at the Hilton BR Capitol Center. I was pleasantly greeted by Egypt (valet) and Robyn (front desk). They were very inviting... great hosts! All restaurants and attractions were a quick walk, although for my dinner meal I stayed inside the hotel and chose to eat at the bar/restaurant area. I had the fried green tomato BLT and the catfish po boy (don’t judge, I was hungry 😂). It was great! The bartender, Delawarence, and I talked football and sports with other guests the entire night. I felt like I I was a local by the end of the night! Thank you Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center staff! 💯

First of all, do not make your reservation through a third party like this “agoda”. They will make it impossible to get your money back. The hotel charges $28 plus taxes for parking or you can drive around looking for parking around the streets (good luck). No ballet on site, the kid couldn’t be found. We had to change rooms 2 times. 1st one had problems with the toilet. The second room wasn’t clean. The third room had hair in the bathroom towels, but at this point it was late and we just wanted to sleep. We asked for a room with a water view, and they said it would cost extra, by the way you can’t even see through the windows because they all have this wife dirt fog like residue on them. The water takes forever to go down the drains in the bathroom. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

Hello, Escape822755. I am so sorry to read about your stay with us last month. This is very disappointing and I would like to apologize on behalf of our entire team for our shortcomings. Booking through third party sites can be frustrating at times because most of the policies do not allow for refunds, it all depends on which site you choose to go with. We offer direct booking through Hilton as well and special discounts for our Hilton Honors members. I shared your comments with the valet management team as well as our housekeeping team so this does not occur in the future. We hope you afford us a second opportunity should your travels return you to the Baton Rouge area.
