This Hilton was greatly disappointing. I will start by saying that the location is great, right next door to the old capitol building, which is stunning and definitely worth seeing. Also, the beds were comfortable. They also offered a free airport shuttle which was beneficial. However, at $250 a pop, it's expected that we wouldn't have to deal with large breed barking dogs in adjacent rooms. For two hours, we had to listen to a dog barking and scratching at the door. It happened in the middle of the night as well. And on multiple other occasions. I did complain to the manager and she did give me some extra hotel points, but dogs should not be allowed in a hotel that charges this much! There are no USB ports in the room. The ironing board was broken, the fridge was not cold and was missing a leg. There was a lot of activity and partying in the street outside in the middle of the night. They did not have complimentary coffee or water for the guests in the lobby, which is almost unheard of in a Hilton charging this kind of money. I will never ever stay at this hotel again and recommend looking elsewhere for your stay in Baton Rouge.

Hotel's Favorite
Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center has become my ONLY choice of hotels during my stays in Baton Rouge. Hilton Baton Rouge differentiates itself with exceptional associates that excel in customer service. Each associates insures your stay is more than "a stay", it is an experience. My recent stay was for two nights therefor I got to know several of the associates first hand. Josh, Monet, and Jared at the front desk always greeted me with a smile as I was coming and going. Most importantly they always asked how I was doing (and be sure to ask Monet about the "Nicholas Cage room"), and if there was anything they could do to insure a memorable stay - - - which it was because the took very good care of me, and always made time for conversation with a smile. Delvin at the restaurant/bar always made conversation, and insured I had a relaxing dining experience (food was great). I was also blessed to have met the General Manager Tim. It was refreshing seeing Tim throughout the hotel each day interacting with guests, to also insure everyone's stay was a memorable experience. Also worth noting the Hilton Baton Rouge Capital Center has the best downtown location of any hotel in Baton Rouge, setting right next to the Mississippi River. If you love to run or take a walk, there is a perfect paved trail that runs along side of the Mississippi River - - - outstanding views of both the rive and city. The hotel is right next to numerous downtown restaurants and a beautiful tree lined street park. The Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center is one of my favorite hotels in the country with its location, charm, and most importantly the people. I look forward to my next return. Thanks.

The front desk staff very rude! Be sure you have your confirmation email with you or she will argue with you and place you in a smaller room and tell you nothing is included with your room. Tori in the Executive Lounge is AMAZING! She made up for the bad experience of the check in!

The technology of being able to text to retrieve my car was so easy and convenient. It would give you an update of when your car would be available. Typically only 5 minutes. Service by Daryl and Damar us was great.

This has been one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever had. Impressed on how carrying and helpful the staff is in here. Kay from the valet was extraordinary. I will stay at this place every time I'm in town from now on.
