Although the rooms were nice ours was very tight and the bathrooms are downright small. I have stayed in less costly hotels that provided breakfast (even just fruit and juice) - you have to stay on the 4th floor to have a breakfast included. The pool is outdoor.

Nice, clean hotel with excellent staff. The view over the river was amazing and the pool deck is an excellent place to relax. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Baton Rouge.

Checked in early Friday evening with my husband and son. Was treated like a burden and that attitude was consistent throughout the entire stay. At 7:30am the next morning we went to the breakfast buffet which was out of several items - we asked for more and the "cook" didn't even say anything, just walked off. After several minutes they... The hotel and amenities were great. The rooms are a little small but not a big deal. breakfast is a great but a little expensive for breakfast. Baton Rouge is a great city to visit. Staff is excellent in customer service - very helpful.

Comfortable bed and sleep during my stay. Within walking distance to State Capitol, levee and other downtown attractions including several museums. Digital key does not work and club lounge was low on food during most of the evening. Staff did not care when the problem was reported.

My husband travels a lot and until staying at this hotel he has finally made up his mind to exclusively stay with Marriot. We had a reservation for one night, but after getting to the hotel we wanted to stay for an additional night. The manager on duty was so rude. He said we don't have a room for another... More

Overall this hotel is nice. The room was clean and the room size was decent; however, the customer service was lacking. I lost my diamond status last year because I was trying to reach 100 nights with Starwood, but I still managed to maintain gold status with Hilton. When I checked in last week I asked about the executive lounge... More

I was in town for a convention at the River Center. This hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the River Center. It's in a safe location, parking available on the street and plenty of places to eat close by.

I have never felt so welcomed before, I mean genuinely welcomed, nothing came off as people doing their jobs yet everyone was professional, (welcome mrs. so & so, how may i assist you mrs. so & so). My room was AWESOME (very LUX) view of the night life & the river. Never a wait for shuttle (which was sometimes a... More

Stayed here for one night during a trip to NO and wanted to visit BR for a day as well. Nice quiet area near the river which is ideal for a walk. Nice big lobby to relax in when you don't want to be in the room. Room wasn't too big and bathroom was small but it was all fine.... More
