This new hotel not only has a cool backstory (the building was originally part of some crooked evangelist's empire), it also is one of the top places to stay in the 14 SEC towns! I travel with a college sports team every winter, and since we've switched to staying at this modern, bright, immaculate and well appointed gem every time...

Recently friends and I were in town for a wedding and had the pleasure of staying at the Renaissance. It was such a wonderful weekend made even more great by the hotel's staff. Unfortunately, I have lost the paper with all the names of the many smiling and helpful people I came in contact with. We were in room 703...

Stayed here for business this week. Hotel is about 20 minutes from airport. Free onsite self parking. Nice fitness room with all working equipment and some dumbbell weights. Rooms clean and nicely appointed. Bed comfortable. Concierge lounge on 2nd floor is nice size. Would stay here again

This hotel was beautiful and truly a gem in Baton Rouge. The scenery inside is appeasing to the eyes. The pool, lobby sitting area, and everything in between is worth every penny. The only problem I had was housekeeping didn't do as well I id expect for a hotel of this magnitude. My shower wasn't cleaned daily and there was...

What an island of comfort at the end of a long, hard day. This property is respite from the frantic traffic and constant under construction roadways of Baton Rouge. The wine bar is above average for the city and the wait staff are knowledgeable. Reasonable prices and good food make the bistro a bargain. Rooms are compact but livable and...

We have stayed at this hotel several times for swim meets at Crawfish Aquatics Baton Rouge, LA. The kids love being able to walk across the parking lot to the swim facility and going to the Mall of Louisiana before and after swimming all day. One of our favorite malls certainly. The Hotel is absolutely amazing, CLEAN as they come...

Stayed here last night for the Taylor Swift concert with my 2 teens that I had with me ..we get our room and we have one bed instead of 2 so we have to get a rollaway bed which sucks and then I get my bill the next day and it was $299 a night instead of the $149 I...

Thank you for posting your comments concerning your recent stay with us. I apologize for the fact that we did not have your requested room type (Two Beds). It is unfortunate that hotels are not always able to fulfill every room type request however we did have accommodations for you using a rollaway to augment the bedding. There may be...

We stay here regularly for swim meets. Hotel has always been clean, comfortable beds, and great gym. Bar and restaurant a little pricey but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. No refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. Great hotel for conferences and weddings

I actually expected more from the Renaissance than I received on a couple of occasions.... They forgot to clean the room in the middle of a multi-night stay. They've repeatedly failed to deliver my folio at the end of a stay. Nuisance stuff. Recently I'm having a hard time getting me my iPod I left in the room last week....

Thanking you for speaking with me today. I cannot apologize enough for the incident with your Ipod. I am glad that I could get it back to you this morning prior to your departure. We are looking at our procedures and will make modifications that hopefully will avoid an incident of similar nature from happening again.

Recently stayed for one night during a quick trip through Baton Rouge. The hotel has a good location and is relatively new. Free parking on site.
