What a surprise. I am a terrible fisherman and because of Theo & Eilene I came away not only with the fish I caught but met the beautiful people at the Cajun Vista Inn. The fishing, the Cajun food, the accomodations, equipment, knowledge all made the experience unforgetable. My Son and I bonded as never before. Our group has been talking... More

This was our first Redfish fishing expeirence. Bourgeois Fishing Charters is without a doubt a top notch outfitter. The lodge is comfortable, the food is 2nd to none, the guides are excellant. We would recommend at least a 2 day fishing expeirence, the fishing is great but folks you do not want to miss the food. you WILL gain weight.... More

We wanted to experience Red fishing in LA. We booked our trip with Bourgeois Fishing Charters after researching 4 other outfitters. We had a marvelous experience. The accommodations were comfortable and the food was great, however, the friendliness of the ownership, staff, and guide made the experience the difference. Our guide recognized that we booked to fish for Red's, but... More

I must start this story off with the statement, "I am not a very good fisherman." I told Theophile that the first time we met. But he just gave me one of his big grins and said, " Cous that don't matter around here". He calls everybody Cous by the way. He along with Eilene were the perfect host the... More

This is a trip that needs to be on your bucket list. The accommodations are terrific, the food is excellent, the location is amazing with wildlife, flora and fauna and the people are so friendly that your memories of this trip will last forever. In addition, the boats, the fishing tackle and the fish head and shoulders above everything else.... More

Last winter, my husband and I watched Bill Dance on t.v. fishing for redfish with Theophile Bourgeois out of Barataria, Louisiana. We made our first trip there in June and immediately booked another one for October. We are avid fisherpeople and have traveled around the U. S. and into Canada, but we agree that we had more fun at the... More
