Last year, my husband and I (along with a couple of friends) visited Kentucky to attend our first Derby. We stayed at Scott Station Inn and were so pleased with our choice! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the homemade muffins we found waiting for us! The rooms were attractive, and they had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners/innkeepers were terrific! It is obvious they love what they do! Breakfast was delicious, and when we returned from the Derby too tired to go out to dinner ... they prepared a delicious lasagna feast for us to enjoy right there at the inn! They were helpful with information about the area and all that it had to offer. Thanks, Bo and Sarah! We would definitely return, and we highly recommend!
I've been negligent in posting this review for so long, but given the current quarantine, I have nothing but time. This was a great weekend getaway for us. We are a low key couple who just want to relax while we are getting away. This inn is cozy and comfortable. Everything is clean and tastefully appointed. We found the bed to be very comfortable, which is important for us. The innkeepers, Bo and Sarah are awesome hosts. It is obvious they are living out a passion. And you can certainly tell it in the food. The muffins are the best ever. But the other parts of breakfast are awesome, and with a creative flare. You are not far from a few distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. We enjoyed a few of those and a winery stop, along with some time downtown. There are plenty of dining options, but we wish we would have dined at the inn a few times other than just breakfast.…
My husband & I had been "on the go" more than usual and decided we would like to get away for a short overnight trip. What a beautiful, welcoming place! We had a lovely time and the breakfast was fantastic! We will be back!
My husband and I visited the weekend following Valentines Day. It was the perfect getaway and just such a lovely, peaceful place. The hospitality was top notch; the decor was tasteful and comfortable, and the food was gourmet quality. We are already planning another trip in a few months; I have to get back soon for another muffin and great night’s sleep. By far the best bed and breakfast experience I have ever had.
The food was the best I’ve ever had, hands down. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Cozy decor. The owners are amazing! You will feel right at home and sad when you have to leave! I can hardly wait to plan our next trip there. It is right in the heart of Wilmore. Small town America is alive and well! The inn and the town are as charming as it gets! You will LOVE it!
