Incredible culinary delights! More like a small European luxury hotel say our well-traveled guest! At A Storybook Inn, our emphasis is on you! This dear old place envelopes one with a delicious sense of calm! Minutes from the world-famous Keeneland Race Course, world-class Thoroughbred Horse Farms. We can arrange a tour for you! A Storybook Inn is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the world. We have hosted guests from around the world, including ambassadors and European royalty's entourage, but our EVERY guest is treated with gracious service and attention. Our 50-foot glass conservatory with the garden view is a splendid place to have your multi-course breakfast. Come see why A Storybook Inn is "close to everything but world's apart!" Healthy and Safety Notes for our Guests: We have always been very meticulous about sanitation at Storybook (Innkeeper has a nursing background), but we are taking it a bit further for the safety of our guests. You do not have to wear face masks here unless you feel more comfortable doing so. We are respectful of your comfort level. We are very conscious about making the environment as germ-free as possible. We have our breakfast tables 6 or more feet apart. We have always had UV light air filtration going 24/7 in our conservatory to filter out any mold, virus, or bacteria. We sanitize room keys between guest stays with UV light. Doorknobs and TV remotes are cleaned between guests as well. Our repeat customers that have visited us recently have told us, "We had no qualms about coming back to Storybook during this time. We did not feel comfortable staying in a large hotel." Our Select Registry Quality Control team told us that we would get the "Housekeeping Award" if they gave one.

My husband and I stayed one night at Storybook Inn recently. We had stayed there several years ago. Fabulous then, fabulous now. Staff was meticulous about Covid - even had a sanitizer box for phones in the room. Casablanca suite was wonderful. A copy of the movie and book on its backstory were nice detail touches. The garden area was a perfect spot for early evening wine and appetizers. Breakfast was A+ served beautifully in the glass conservatory. We hope it won’t be as long a time until our next visit. Even better, we hope to stay longer than one night!

Elise and her staff, Juana and Veronica, are warm and welcoming. They have a sincere desire to give their guests the best service possible. The accommodations are beautifully furnished and supremely comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and Elise goes out of her way to accommodate dietary restrictions. And the afternoon snacks she provides! The most delicious cookies ever! Thank you Elise, Juana and Veronica for giving Ray and me a much-needed break. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

It was our second stay at this lovely B&B. If you're looking for a fantastic place to getaway this is the place for you!! Elise and her staff are on top of everything. We was greeted by Elise upon arriving and she made us feel like we were at home. Our room was outstanding (Casablanca Suite) the bedding was so comfortable that it was very hard to get up in the mornings. At this time of COVID 19 extreme measures was taken to be comfortable and and we felt safe. The breakfast is not only delicious it's very well presented . We looked forward to the scones with Devonshire Cream. The afternoon sweets was always a pleasant surprise!!! The grounds are so lovely! I just want to say that I highly recommend that you would have a wonderful stay at Storybook Inn. Thank You, Elise and staff for another great stay. Hope we will be back soon. Sandra and Jim

Sanctuary perfectly describes this place! A bygone era that you think can no longer be found in the hustle and bustle of life today and yet here it is. It does exist! It exists in the sweet person of Elise who owns this beautiful Inn. Her gentle, beautiful spirit makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. It exists as you walk the lovely grounds that surround the Inn. And it exists in the beautifully appointed suites, each decorated with intention, to make your stay simply out of this world. If you are looking for a sanctuary for your weary soul, or to celebrate your gratitude for a wonderful life, look no further than A Storybook Inn.
