Step back in time of Gone with the Wind. As a true Yankee and Bibliophile, I was excited about the Lincoln Library room. I spent a good time perusing the bookshelves and found very old books to new titles. My favorite find was a Girl Scout Handbook from 1930. We were treated to a yummy dessert in the evening and then a breakfast in the morning which featured a fruit bowl and French egg bake. Tea/coffee offered in the evening with all of the creamers & flavors you could want. The bedroom did have a temperature controlled fireplace that would kick off with the room AC so it would alternate between cold and warm. If we stayed a second night, while the fireplace ambiance was nice, I would turn it off at night and just add another blanket.

We spent one night there in the bleak of winter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for one night in Lincoln Library. The breakfast was delicious as well. We will definitely be back in the spring, summer or fall for another visit to enjoy what looked like a beautiful setting.

Absolutely beautiful house in a gorgeous setting with horses and donkeys. Justin and Catherine were lovely hosts. Loved the corn cakes for breakfast and the bacon butter. Appreciated having a room with a queen bed plus two twin beds. Worked out perfect for us.

We recently stayed at Maple Hill Manor during our recent fall getaway to Kentucky. The historic home is beautiful, the grounds are quintessential Kentucky horse country, and the food was delicious. We hope to stay there again in the future. Take care! Marilee S.

My husband and I have been visiting Maple Hill Manor the past few years, for two babymoons and two anniversaries. Every time we go, we fall in love with this small town gem over and over again. The manor is beautiful and the landscape is green, beautiful, and quiet. If you like animals, you can visit the horses or miniature donkeys in the pastures or pet the sweet chocolate Doberman that lives there. We love the home-cooked breakfast that we feel is made special for us and the evening desserts provided. The new owners Justin and Catherine have made changes that update the bed and breakfast experience without compromising the historic value and integrity of the manor. We love this place and will continue to visit at least once a year for years to come!

We returned to stay the weekend at Maple Hill Manor as we visited the Perryville Battlefield State Park. We’ve stayed there many times! The owners are the friendliest and provide a welcoming atmosphere. The mansion is beautiful and the gift shop is a great addition. You’ll be treated to a delicious evening dessert and breakfast. We look forward to our next stay!

Travelling from Canada through Kentucky with our friends to our destination in Tennessee we opted for a two night stay at the Maple Hill Manor and we were not disappointed!! Upon arrival at the beginning of the evening we were amazed by the Manor and all it’s surroundings.. just gorgeous ! We were greeted by Justin (proprietor) and welcomed with delicious cake as a snack before turning in for the night to our rooms after a long drive and met Catherine ( proprietor) the next morning with a delicious breakfast! Justin and Catherine are wonderful hosts , very kind and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and furnished from the era of the manor. The beds and pillows are very comfy. And right next to the bourbon trail! When back in the area we will for sure be back to the Maple Hill Manor!

First, how cool is it to get the privilege to sleep in a historic plantation with so much history. I can say it was wonderful. The owners/ operators were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful and lets not forget those breakfasts! I have been sent home with instructions to make this or that just like she did. NEXT, the SHEETS! Can I just say WOW. Yes I bought a set to take home. The bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful. If you don't normally sleep in I am sure you will be very tempted on your stay. If you are a bourbon lover how awesome is it to be right in the middle of the bourbon trail. But, make those reservations early they do book up quickly. I now have to return to do the horse country tours. Something to look forward to. I will be back.

We chose Maple Hill Manor to get married and could not have been more pleased with the experience. The hosts Justin and Catherine are the friendliest people you can meet and boy can she cook! After breakfast on day 1, we were giddy thinking about what day 2 meal would be. The manor and countryside are gorgeous, wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful views from every window….peaceful and quiet….with amazing food prepared by the friendly owners and staff. I melted into my comfortable bed and slept like a rock. The rooms are each unique and beautiful. We loved relaxing out on the patio and watching the horses and donkeys. This was a girls’ trip weekend with family & friends. There’s plenty to do nearby. I hope to return someday and I highly recommend it!
