Wife and I found this B&B to stay at for a short weekend visit on the Bourbon Trail. Rich and Carol have a beautiful place. Our breakfast was delicious with items like bacon, French toast, eggs Benedict, hot coffee and fresh blueberries! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The Inn has various rooms from simple to luxury to suit all tastes.

We will be back as we continue visiting the Bourbon trail as it’s very central to many of the distilleries including Makers Mark, Willet, Limestone Branch, Jim Beam and more.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Wildflower Ranch Inn. Breakfast was fabulous, and unlike other B&Bs we’ve stayed at, they prepared it within a time frame that worked for our schedule. One other difference we noticed was they provided us a front door key which allowed us to come and go as we pleased, without requesting a curfew. There are ample distillery tours available in the area, but we enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The house was kept very clean. They do have pets, but their dog Josie was very friendly and no pet odors present. This location is perfect for a getaway or a small bridal party/guests looking for a unique venue.

Thanks so much for staying with us for your Kentucky Bourbon Trail visit. We have many guests doing the same thing all the time. We would love to have you come back for a couple more days anytime. There are a LOT of distilleries to go to during the day and then you can sit by the pool in the evening with your drinks. And yes, we get requests for bridal parties and small weddings. See you next time.

Rich & Carol are very gracious hosts! We traveled to pick up our finally finished Ambassador Barrel from Maker’s Mark distillery. Our room (Tiger Lily) was huge and extremely tidy. The Wildflower Ranch Inn is conveniently located in the heart of the Bourbon Trail so it’s a no-brainer to stay here. After a day of distillery touring we had an ice bucket and glasses waiting on us in our room. Breakfast was made fresh each day and was absolutely gourmet level delicious! It was very nice to stay in such a serene location. Thank you for your hospitality and we will be staying here again on our next trip! 10 out of 10, highly recommend for your stay 👍🏼

Such a perfect place to celebrate our 20th anniversary! The blackberry blossom suite is fit for royalty! Luxurious to the tee! Sunday bruch was perfectly timed with our check out time and was the perfect way end to our weekend. Carol and Rich go out of their way to make your stay safe and enjoyable. We have been to many B&Bs in the Midwest and the south and the Wildflower Ranch Inn ranks as number 1. The setting is a bucolic dream, the accommodations are top notch, the food is five star quality, and the hosts are pleasant and engaging. Not to be missed is the giant combination shower/ steam room that will melt the stress and toxins away. Close by is the city of Bardstown, filled with small mom and pop shops, local restaurants and unpretentious people. Repeat visits are a must.

A great B&B in the middle of bourbon country, so made it a great base for exploration. The owners are both artists from California who are very easy going and nice. The breakfast was delicious without being too elaborate. We were in giant sunflower room which truly is giant. We used the hall bathroom which was also very large and luckily we did not share it with anyone so worked out nicely. The cat and dog are super chill and unobtrusive. There is a lot of beautiful and unique art decorating the walls. The house is very nicely decorated fitting its 100+ year history. The house configuration is a bit odd so could hear and smell kitchen activities but it was not too bad to wake up to smell of delicious cooking. There are a few restaurants nearby and we even got delivery from local Italian eatery. Overall, would highly recommend.

If you are looking for R&R in Bourbon Country, look no further than the Wildflower Ranch Inn where hosts Rich and Carol will spoil you with incredible ambiance, beautiful hospitality, and a savory Sunday brunch. Tucked away on a half mile private driveway, they are surrounded by quiet, cornfields, and the rolling Kentucky hills. A beautiful place to stay with friends - there are only 4 rooms, which are all large. A spacious patio / pool for lounging - an amazing place to get away. Immaculate and we felt very comfortable with their safety practices for the pandemic. Thank you Rich and Carol!

My wife and I stayed in the suite and couldn’t have been more pleased. Beautiful scenery, a Humongous bedroom and unbelievable shower and bathroom, definitely worth splurging. Breakfast was fantastic too.
We were on our anniversary and got massages scheduled through owners.
Good central location for bourbon tours, most distilleries working 30 minutes or so. Definitely, highly recommended. We will stay again when we finish up some of the distilleries we missed.

While on a cross-country road trip to visit friends and family my wife and I stayed at Wildflower Ranch Inn so that we could also visit a bourbon distillery or two before the last leg of our trip through Ohio and on to Massachusetts. What a wonderful find! Rich and Carol are interesting and engaging hosts and they've created a very comfortable atmosphere in which to relax and use as a home base while in search of bourbon or other Kentucky attractions. The inn is decorated throughout with incredible works of art and photographs, many of which are original pieces by Carol and Rich, both very accomplished in their chosen media. Also, they are both very accomplished in the kitchen as the food they prepared for us was amazing. In addition to the included breakfast, for an additional fee and sufficient notice they will also prepare either a light evening meal, or a full dinner. We availed ourselves to both options for the two evenings we were there. Creative menus and fresh ingredients added up to a couple of incredibly delicious meals. Note: The inn is located in a "dry" town so you'll need to supply your own beer, wine or spirits, but Rich and Carol will happily supply you with the appropriate glassware in which to enjoy your beverage of choice. Don't pass through this region of Kentucky without checking them out.

We were greeted warmly by Carol when we checked in, given the key to our room and was asked about our preference for breakfast. The room was large, immaculate with comfortable bed and pillows. I was surprised that our bathroom was outside the room down a few steps in which I didn’t know to ask because I haven’t been in many B&B’s. Although the bathroom was spotless and extremely clean with nice towels and toiletries I would have preferred one in the room since I get up at least 1-2 times during the night. There are rooms with bathrooms in them so you need to inquire before booking. I would definitely stay here again but request the room with the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent a ham and cheese frittata and good coffee and specialty teas served in a pretty dining room. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I lost part of an earring in the room which she found and called me and told me she was going to mail it to me which I thought was extremely nice. I recommend this place highly to stay in when In Bardstown.
