This campground has so much potential. We were told it was recently redone. It had a great kids/play area! A bouncing blob, cornhole, basket ball, footballs, horseshoes, gaga ball, a nice fire pit and clean bathrooms. We had a nice premium campsite with a concrete pad that had a nice table and chairs and a glider. My problem is that they don’t enforce quiet hours. There were some very loud teenage kids that were on the playground area and the basketball courts from 2:00am to 5:00 am when my husband ran them off. We called the after hours host number and the call was not answered. Since we couldn’t sleep anyways, we left the campground super early. It’s frustrating being in a campground with people who don’t follow rules, and owners/ management that doesn’t enforce, especially when you go camping to get rest!

This was my third different KOA, and while they have made recent improvements to the grounds for entertainment, we still experienced some unpleasant things. I will start with the unpleasant first. I get that this is a campground, and there will be bugs, but they gave us cabin #2, and an entire ANT colony was residing inside the cabin with us. We did report this, and they did spray around the cabin, but it didn't help the problem. What is worse is that the employee told us they had been thinking of demolishing this cabin because its old and the wood is rotting, and presumably that is why ants are nesting in large numbers. Why are you renting this cabin to people if that is the case? This was extremely inconvenient because we needed to keep all our food in the car.. and unnerving because most of these ants were crawling on one of the walls next to a bed someone had to sleep in. Next, The WiFi signal is a joke. It didn't matter where we were on the campground, it was the same. It would hold a signal for a minute, and then lose it, and keep asking to re-log in. If you're going to advertise WiFi for your campground, you should make sure that it works. There is a large section of the campground that is for "Seasonal" rentals. This area is pretty run-down, and some of the RV's look like they haven't moved in years. This was a little surprising. The pool was sparsely used by anyone because it was freezing. Surprising for mid June in Kentucky. The good: The event planning staff for kids activities was fantastic, and very friendly. They did a great job. The main central grounds have been renovated into a large entertainment "zone" with the staple for most KOA's "The bouncing pillow" but also basketball area, large chess and checkers sets, and other family games. This area is better than most KOA's because it makes for a central location for all people to gather, adults and kids for a good time. The bathrooms and showers for the most part were clean for a campground, and were being cleaned routinely. They could use some functioning exhaust fans though.

We loved this Koa so much, the staff was a great team and they upkeep the grounds perfect. The pool was nice! There is a whole lawn with activities and they get so much use. There is some short trails and the location is perfect, off of the highway and near Bourbon trail.

This KOA isn't too far off the highway, so it was a convenient place to stay after a long day on the road. The management provides an escort to take you to your site. The RV sites were a bit close together, but I had a spacious tent site that was fine for my purposes. This campground was the priciest of the four I stayed in during my road trip. I assume it was because of having not only a pool, but a bouncy pillow, a basketball hoop, a giant chess game, ... Plenty for kids to do. The restrooms were clean, and the park was quiet overnight.

Stayed over night. The staff were helpful and very nice. RV Sites were close but not impossibly tight or intrusive on others or ourselves. Easy entrance and exit. Site was concrete pad and level. Quiet park and well kept. We stayed in a 44 foot 5th wheel
