Holiday Inn has stepped up their game. It felt more like a boutique hotel than a chain. The decor in the lobby (I love the funky green velvet chairs!) and our room was very nice. The bed and pillows were great, towels were big, thick and thirsty. They do have an indoor pool but we did t have time to use it. There was a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave and a small fridge. What I appreciated the most was on every floor there were recycling bins. That appealed to my tree hugging self! The staff were absolutely incredible. Adriana, checked us in. She was wonderful and very friendly. . When we checked out, Karen ( def not a “Karen”) and Tyrese were great so a big shout out to them and the entire staff. . We really felt welcome there. The whole town of Paducah is pretty cool. Lots of cool art and vintage/antique stores. Everyone we met was a joy and the city itself was so clean. If I ever come back to Paducah I will absolutely stay here again. And, then I’ll make sure to use the saltwater pool.…
Glad we stayed here while visiting the National Quilt Museum. Very clean lobby and room. Breakfast hostess went out of her way to ensure guests had what they wanted. Desk staff were on top of reservations. Even though our room faced the highway, never heard traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again.
We’ve stayed at this hotel many times on road trips back south. First time was in 2011 and it is always clean, quiet and comfortable. This stay was great. On this road trip we stayed at 5 Holiday Inn Express and Paducah does it right! The front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast as well. I’ll continue to stay here during my future travels.
We were just stopping to break up the drive from northern Illinois to Nashville and weren’t expecting much. Instead, we were greeted by the friendliest staff, enjoyed a delicious hot complimentary breakfast, and slept great in a clean and comfortable room. The bathroom looked nice and the shower pressure was perfect. My husband is 6’3” and he had plenty of room in the shower, which doesn’t always happen at hotels. Two thumbs up!
Stayed for one night while traveling from Wisconsin to Florida. It is right on the route, and the hotel is good all around. They seem to remember the small details that other properties forget. The lady running breakfast couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating to my requests. The cookies at check-in were a nice surprise after a long day in the car. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Very well lit parking lot too. Overall a great stay.
This Holiday Inn Express has a great location just off Interstate 24. Good restaurants close by, too! The hotel was very clean and safe. The hot breakfast was very good, too. The person in charge of the breakfast area was very friendly and nice attitude for very early in the morning. Thanks, Sunshine!
Wow- staff extremely friendly, very clean and tidy. Following COVID precautions and everything is constantly being cleaned and sanitized in the lobby. Room- standard size rooms we stayed in the king suite. Couch pulls out to a full/queen bed. Roomy and extremely clean. Definitely will be staying here in the future. Very kid friendly. This hotel did not disappoint.
We had just started our vacation roadtrip, and had a breakdown after 350 miles...We were in Paducah, and had our car towed to a dealership. This Holiday Inn Express was nearby, and I called for a room. The desk clerk, Jesse, was very pleasant and helpful in arranging a last-minute reservation and explaining the area to us. I rode to the hotel with the tow truck driver, leaving my wife at the service station without transportation. The assistant manager, Donna S., heard my plight and immediately drove over to pick up my wife and bring her to the hotel. This was really above and beyond the call of duty. The room was great, the facility was clean and attractive. Good rate, free hot breakfast, fresh baked cookies in the evening. Many restaurants nearby as well. We will stay here for sure on our return trip. …
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are Paducah, Ky. It’s located right off the interstate. This hotel is super clean, very nice and has the most friendliest and helpful staff there is!
We had a wonderful stay at HI Express. The staff went above and beyond. During this time of bagged breakfasts due to COVID by most chains, HI Express served up a full hot breakfast (plated and served to you) along with all the fresh fruit, cereal and pastries that we have all grown accustomed to. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay at this location again when we travel through Paducah. Thanks HI Express for a much needed great nights sleep!
