We stayed at the comfort suites in May 2019. We were pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the rooms. Our beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. Our kids greatly enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was very nice. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We certainly have appreciated your positive and encouraging comments over the years about our Comfort Suites. Mr. and Ms. Thomas, on behalf of our entire team of Hospitality Associates, we as a team would like to respectfully and sincerely apologize for failing to meet and or exceed your expectations of our Comfort Suites during your recent stay with us. You and your wife's satisfaction is extremely important to each of us here at Comfort Suites Owensboro. We will be utilizing the comments, complaints and your feedback that you graciously provided to Choice Hotels Customer Relations Department, Medallia, Choice Hotels, and TripAdvisor to make immediate and necessary improvements. We want to ensure that we continue to offer an exceptional, positive and memorable experience not only for you, your wife and family, but for all our guests now and in the future. Mr. Thomas, with you being a General Manager of a hotel, you know that sometimes things can happen, and with the help of our guests like you letting us know the little and big things that we "do wrong" and that we "do right". This truly makes a lasting and promising impression, and also help us to better educate our Hospitality Associates to better communicate with one another, as without communication, we may "drop the ball", in satisfying our guests, appreciating our guests, and thanking our guests. I was truly thankful that Ms. Carla was able to reach you and speak to you personally about your experience with our Comfort Suites. I am sorry that our Hospitality Associates was not more attentive and showed more compassion to your experience with our treadmill in our Fitness Room. I truly do apologize for any inconveniences that our Hospitality Associates may have caused you and your wife during your two day stay with us. Please accept our sincerest apologies. Mr. Thomas, sometimes it is not always about the reimbursement of ones stay, as more to let the staff know what we could have done better, and for that I truly appreciate you sharing your comments, as it will re-enforce the importance of proper training for all Hospitality Staff Associates. Currently our Comfort Suites Owensboro is under renovations, and sometimes that can very difficult, especially to completely properly, educate new Room Attendants in how to clean a Guest Suite properly. Once we have completed our renovations, I would like to to personally invite you and your wife to come back and visit with us, as our guests. By the way, the nicest comments you could have given us was, that our beds are the nicest and most comfortable beds you have ever slept on, and that coming from another hotelier General Manager could have not been more received. We stayed here because of the sofa bed. Since we were 2 adults and 3 kids, it was the best option. The lady who checked us in, was awesome. While the others were ok, that we conversed with, she was the best one. The kitchen staff, they greeted us and talked to us, we liked that. The bathroom, the mat for the tub, was gross, I didn't use it after the first time, it was squishy, and made me think of 'what would be in that mat not from me', I think they should invest in something other than that. Even if it was just as plastic one, that would be better than the squish. The tub does need it, as I almost fell out 2 times, without the gross mat. We ended up throwing it under the sink on the floor, because we weren't going to use it. We used the pool the first day we were there, but it was a dingy spot. A window was broken, they had plastic up, the ceiling was peeling, and there were dead bugs in the pool. We didn't use the pool again, but we were really busy and exhausted to check it out again. Overall, the breakfast foods were good, hot and coffee tasty. It was quiet when we slept, the beds comfortable, The sofa bed sheet didn't stay on the mattress very well. The location is perfect, close to everything a person would need. We couldn't get the wifi to work, when I asked about it, I was given a new password, but that still didn't work.

We needed a place while were down helping our daughter move in. We have always had good luck with Comfort Suites. This one was right up there. Upon arriving, check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. All the staff we had interactions with were nice and friendly. The breakfast area was clean and plenty big. The selections were your basic hotel choices. Everything we had for breakfast was good. When we visit we will stay here again.
