Enjoyed my stay. The staff very friendly and helpful. Sometime just have to walk to see things. I took a walk along the River behind the hotel only 3 blocks away to the Aquarium. I also walked and found Big boy plus a Kroger’s. A good location with many restaurants around to eat. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. Offered a grab and go breakfast which was good. I do miss their hot breakfast but due to Virus had to stop. Maids are friendly even saw a maid on her knees washing the floor.
2 towels for 4 person room Different prices on the phone versus check-in Dirty - carpets were absolutely filthy, disgustingly so Lobby restroom needed attention on Friday morning and still was dirty Saturday morning Elevators had missing buttons Would never had stayed had we not had pets
I rarely write a poor review, because I mostly stay in hotels that have been well reviewed before by others, so I know what I'm getting into. There were positives and negatives to this 3 day stay. Negatives: Inconsistent mask wearing by staff. One staff person was at the desk all three days, and never wore a mask. I don't care if you are behind some plexiglass, a mask is still required to protect all of us. Another staff person took her mask OFF to sneeze! I ran out of the lobby that time. Masks are to prevent disease spread from speaking, coughing, and sneezing. Keep them on, and change them when you need to, such as after a sneeze. The night I arrived, it was cold out - single digits cold. My 2nd floor room was directly above the parking (not a garage, just open area with no walls, open area under the building), and the floor of the room was frigid! The heat system in this room struggled, at its highest setting, to warm the room at all. It took 24 hours to get it to a comfortable temp. The room was nice, the place is in ok condition - some wear and tear. There's a small sitting area separate from the beds. Mini fridge (no freezer compartment), microwave. My room did have a view of the Ohio River and the City of Cincinnati.…
This hotel has been our go to place for many years. We were so disappointed to see it has really gone down hill over the past year. The entire property is run down and dirty. It looks like they haven’t mopped the elevators or lobby in days! Our first room had hair in the bathroom floor and tub and was just nasty. We asked for a new room and they gave us one. It was a little better but still dirty and dusty. Can webs were hanging from the lamps. There appeared to be blood behind the toilet. The worst part was there was no mattress over. The sheet was on the mattress with nothing under it. I’ve never in my life seen this at a hotel. We cut our stay short and checked out the following morning and moved to another hotel. Never will we stay here again. It breaks my heart because we have been staying here for 10 years or more. I took some pictures on the way out but forgot to take any of the room. …
Great price for the room and view. Good location. However, you hear everything. People walking and talking down the hall. You hear water running that sounds like its running down the wall. Website said breakfast included but the hotel was not doing breakfast (probably COVID related). If that’s the case, they should update their website. Beds were comfortable.
