Please understand this is a Motel and not a Hotel. The doors to your room are outside and anyone off the streets can walk up and knock on them. I didn't realize this when I was making my arrangements. I didn't feel like the safety lock on the door was secure so I quickly put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the outside of my door. I arrived late in the evening and was given a room. I noticed that the television didn't work. When I tried to call the front desk, the phone in the room was totally dead. I had to use my cell phone to call. They didn't send anyone to assist me, but told me to unplug the cable and wait. I did this and the television still didn't work. They had to move me to a different room. The t.v. in the new room worked, but the telephone was dead also. The water was hot in the shower and the beds are comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff is nice. There is NO complimentary breakfast like the website said. There is a restaurant in the back on the hotel complex that you can go to and buy food. The food and prices were decent. Personally, I won't stay here again because of the safety factor.

This is a 2 star motel, doors are to the outside. We felt safe. Very nice and clean room. King bed, a little soft for my liking but ok. Front desk lady (Terri, I think) was very friendly. Back Street Cafe located at the back of the motel. Dairy Queen located close by. BP station next door. We stayed in room 114. Close to busy road. We could hear traffic when we were awake but we’re not disturbed by it while sleeping. Cost was $181 for 2 nights and it included taxes and fees. Was booked through booking.com. The bathroom water faucet was a little difficult to pull up and when you did, it sprayed with full force, getting water everywhere. Gotta pull it up slowly.
I would definitely recommend this motel.

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, along with a microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge with freezer. They have an indoor and outdoor pool and beautifully landscaped grounds. The staff were also very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Should probably notify you ahead of time that they only rent to people from out of state. Drive from over two hours away and got turned away after I had booked through booking. Told me they don’t accept business debit so I handed a credit card still wasn’t good enough and staff was very rude.

I needed, requested, and received confirmation of a handicap room. When I got there I found out they only had one and it was given out.
The ADA handicap room was a joke. You could not get a wheelchair into the toilet area, no railings for assistance, and the space was smaller than any half bathroom.

Nice stay. The front desk lady that check me in was very very nice.
We did see a roach in our room.
The biggest problem we had were the toliets.
My husband is a double amputee and the toliets are not made for handicapped people. Way way to low.
I'm sure they are not ADA approved.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

My family and I stayed here for one night only. At first, we were excited about the clean pool and the cute rooms. After passing out for the evening, I started getting bug bites (I'm assuming dust mites because I'm allergic to them and no one else was getting bit.) after not being able to sleep, I went to the rental office to bring this to their attention. they didn't apologize and offered to trade rooms. Since everyone was passed out, I declined since we were getting up in a couple of hours and if there are bugs in one room, they are most likely in the others. Talked to the manager the next day, they discounted our stay, but when it comes to an experience like this...I feel it should've been completely taken care of. I'm disgusted and disappointed in the way they handle such a situation.

We had a wonderful experience at The Golden Manor. The company we work for is in Louisville and Golden Manor gave our company good rates. We stayed in the motel for 2 nights and the owner convinced us to go stay in the extended stay suites. The owner is very sweet and helpful. She knew we would be needing a house to have our furniture delivered so she set me up with some places to go look at. The front desk clerk was very helpful as well. She gave us a realtor who had some rentals to go look at. The housekeeping crew came everyday to clean the suite as well. Some days I told her we didn't need anything and she always would ask me 2 or 3 times to make sure I didn't need anything. Very very friendly staff at Golden Manor!! We had no problems with connecting to WIFI at the hotel or down the road at the extended stay. All our workers that are arriving in town to work on this job I tell them the owner has great rates for the company and it is perfect to stay there until they all find places to rent. When we moved out of the extended suites and into our house I needed to print some important papers and our WIFI wasn't connected yet. I called The Golden Manor and she said absolutley come on up here and print it out. They have a convinent computer and printer in the lobby for guests. Now we are into November and my company needed a more legible receipt so we drove back up there and the owner happily printed us out a receipt with no questions asked and told us if we EVER need anything let her know and she would help us out. Everyone at The Golden Manor made us feel like family and welcome to Kentucky. Thank You everyone at The Golden Manor!!!!

I called to book several rooms for our family to visit our soldier and the front desk lady was very rude and acted like it was a burden to book the rooms. I told her that I would look somewhere else! If you don't want my business, I don't want to be there!
