My friend and I chose to stay here on our trip to Mammoth Cave. I’m so glad we did. The lodge is beautiful and inviting. The room was great, very clean and comfy. The view from our balcony of the lake was beautiful. The food was delicious!

The first Saturday in February is Buffalo Night at the lodge. It is a buffet of several types of dishes made with buffalo. It is absolutely delicious! The only downside is the wait. It is so popular that you may have to wait an hour or more to be seated, but it is worth it.

Omg, they have a BAR! We didn't visit it because we came "prepared." The room was a little musty and dated but clean. Gorgeous lake and marina. We would like to go back during boating season. Ugh... the restuarant is closed from 10-11 AM! That is when "prepared" people…
