My husband and I stayed in the Attic Suite to celebrate our birthdays. The location of this B&B is great! It is nestled in a neighborhood within walking distance to a nice park. We have stayed at lots of B&B's and this one was the worst as far as cleanliness. The furniture had dust, the shower floor and seat were... More

This was a last minute idea. Our family Christmas plans fell through. We decided to take a mini-vacation for a couple of days. Arrived at the B&B after dark. We were greeted and given the key to our "Cupola Room" in the Carriage House. Decorated nicely but a little cramped for my 6'3" husband. It was fine tho.... Had a... More

Unfortunately we found the hostess to be rude and the room to be far from what the pictures and amentiies listed led us to believe. We have enjoyed many bed and breakfast stays and often there are quirks and differences between what is pictured or described and what you actually experience but this was memorably bad. If you want people... More

The Rose Cottage at the Inn at Woodhaven is small, and filled with large furniture and clutter. Architecturally it is a blunder, and for anyone claustrophobic, it is a potential nightmare. I'm surprised the unit, built in 1998, meets local codes. Don't trust the online photos. A long wide staircase to a tiny loft consumes needed floor space and divides... More

Inn at Woodhaven is a visually stunning B&B - filled with antiques and collectible displays. The rooms are filled with art and fancy furnishings, and there is great attention to detail, from the array of candies and cookies, to sherry and liqueurs,to current magazines and games and books. A great value! The breakfast was generous and delicious. I wish we... More

We want you to stay longer too...come again soon. It is fun for me to find new furnishings and linens for the rooms. We are to the point after 22 years of being pretty full ...so if something new comes in something must exit as well! I shop at Trader Joes and Whole Foods here is town...both just a mile... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Inn at Woodlawn in October of 2015 as a treat. It was a lovely B & B filled to the brim with antiques and charming decorations. We were given the Attic Room which is 1200 sq ft, a whole 3rd floor that was way too big for just 2 people, but would have... More

Thank you for the feedback about your stay in the Attic Suite. We are so sorry that you were not happy with your stay. The Attic Suite is quite large and spacious. We have 2 people in that room at least 75 percent of the time and they love having the space to spread out. But it is perfect for... More

Even though we stayed only for one night, this beautifully appointed Inn with its ornate decorations, high ceilings and plush furnishings offered excellent value for money. I loved the perfectly indulgent touches such as the soaking spa tub, complete with a choice of luxurious bath products (ideal for the Garden Room) to the wide range of Keurig coffees and teas... We so appreciate your comments. The Garden Room is one of my favorites. I had a fun time decorating it in French Country colors and furniture. We put two separate rooms together to allow for more room for the spa tub an steam shower. The second floor of the Main House is controlled in the hallway. We are happy to... More

We enjoyed our two night stay at this B and B. Due to some confusion regarding our reservations, we wound up staying in both the Hearth Room and the Rose Cottage. The Innkeeper, Marsha, made sure that the issue was corrected to our satisfaction. The architecture was interesting and restored well. The furnishings were cozy, but a little cramped. Beds... More

Thank you for the valuable feed back about your stay. We hope you liked the Hearth Room and Rose Cottage. Both of those rooms have fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. The Hearth Room is the original kitchen for the property. We restored the 10 foot wide fireplace to look exactly as it did when the Carriage House was built in 1853.... More

We arrived for a weekend anniversary early September for our first trip to Louisville. We were in the cozy Cupola Room. Lovely, quite comfortable, and as I hoped we had lots of privacy upstairs. As a horse owner and enthusiast, I adored the carriage theme art in our room, and the antique furniture was pitch perfect. The bathroom was BIG.... More

Thank you for reviewing our inn. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay in the Cupola Room. It is our smallest room but as you noticed very comfortable and cozy. That spa tub is great...but next time try one of our other larger rooms with those steam showers. They are fantastic...especially when it cold outside! The caramel French toast is... More

This inn is 5 minutes to a mall, fitness center and Whole Foods store. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. Marsha is a pleasant hostess with great attention to detail. Thank you for taking time to give us a review. We appreciate our business travelers and try to make it comfortable and convenient for them. We have free wifi in all the buildings.
