A nice mansion type B&B in old Louisville. We had a 3rd floor room with a small balcony overlooking neighbouring Central park that was a wonderful place to have a morning coffee or evening drink; as well as the Warren room (which is basically a two bed no-bathroom add-on room) for our two college age daughters. This Inn and innkeepers... More

We were recommend this B & B by David Domine who has written several books on Old Louisville. The Inn at the Park is in a neighborhood of other grand homes of the turn of the century. Our host Herb and his wife has taken great pride in restoring this and the DuPont Mansion across the street to its original... More

Myself and my husband spent our 10 year anniversary here 07/08/16. We live in the city and I literally work 3 minutes away from this Awesome gem! I surprised my husband as he had been lead to believe we were staying at the Galt House since that was where we "honeymooned in the city" 10 years earlier, but I wanted... More

The Inn is simply beautiful! We stayed in the Mayor's room and it was perfect, exactly as described. Went to The Tavern for dinner-delicious and one of Herb's recommendations. Enjoyed the peacefulness of the back porch during the evening. Herb was a wonderful host. Certainly worth the stop.

We love this place! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The common areas are spacious and beautifully furnished as well. We especially liked the covered veranda in the back of the house...it was really hot while we were there and the porch was nice and cool. Breakfast was excellent and Herb was the perfect host. We will be back!

Glad to return. Great convenient location in "Old Louisville Historic District" across the street from a great park and it's sister property the Dupont Mansion B&B. Both are great with free parking and wonderful innkeepers with a choice of restaurants within an easy walk. If you have hesitated to do a B&B, either of these would be a great first... More

This was a wonderful BnB. We were in Louisville for 5 days and it was so wonderful to come "home" to our place at the Inn. We were in the Carriage House, Colonel's Suite right off the common area living room and dining room. It felt like we were in our own little house. We played cards at night at... More

Based on other reviews, we were really looking forward to our stay at the Inn at the Park. The house was beautiful, and our room was very nice. We thought the woman who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. However, after checking in, we hardly saw any employees at the Inn, other than at breakfast. The only issue we... More

I won't try to address each of the 10 different issues raised by this review. It seems that we had a bad day. None of these occurrences represent anything we want to tolerate at Inn at the Park. To the extent they represent "impressions" rather than reality, we do not want to create and leave such impressions with any guest.... More

Inn at the Park was so much fun! First of all, Mimi (the inn keeper) was darling. She greeted us at the door with a big welcome, gave us a tour of the entire mansion, porch, garden and carriage house. Her breakfast was to die for! Fresh fruit, stuffed apple cinnamon french toast, yummy veggie strada. Mimi also whipped up... More

Thank you for this glowing review. Interesting that it contrast so with another that weekend. This represents the experience we disire EVERY guest to have. We are in the business of creating happy, memorable experiences. We try hard to never fall short of that goal. I'm very glad we accomplished our goal with several people that day. More

The house and our room was beautiful, and the location in Old Louisville was fantastic. However I would say the welcome that we received was lukewarm at best, and the breakfast was definitely sub-par. The fruit had probably been cut up several days before, and the rest of the meal seemed to have been re-heated rather than freshly cooked. Also,... More

Our regular innkeeper was absent this day which accounts for (but does not excuse) a lukewarm welcome with limited information about sights to see in Louisville. Our desire and plan is to always provide a friendly and knowledgable consigliere service to assure you have a great time in Louisville. We don't have an explanation for the complaint about reheated breakfasts... More
