The house is beautifully restored and furnished with antiques. The surprise was that the excellent breakfast was served in courses by the friendly chef trained hosts. Everything was delicious and served in the elegant dining room on china with crystal glasses. The bedding was very comfy and the bathrooms had the charm of an older home with modern features, like...

Thank you for taking the time to review us. The main house of Inn at the Park morphed into the Louisvillle Bourbon Inn on December 2 with the able assistance of our new innkeepers, Erica and Jim and we are very pleased with the result. I will happily pass on your complements to them. Herb Warren

We didn't stay at the B&B but were able to view it on the Old Louisville Holiday Home Tour. This is a very attractive Mansion converted into a bed and breakfast. The Old Louisville neighborhood has a number of old mansions that have been refurbished over the last 30 years or so. They are either single family home now or...

This was our first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast. We had selected this B&B are reading reviews on Tripadvisor. We made an excellent choice. We were welcomed to the B&B by one of the owners, Herb Warren. Herb gave us a tour of the mansion, which was adorned with Christmas Decorations, and showed us to our room. Complimentary...

This is one of the best inns I have stayed in, anywhere. The service is detailed and attentive without being intrusive, and your every little need is seen to. The inn is gorgeous, and everything you could want is provided - fresh-baked cookies, a variety of snacks, sodas and bottled water, coffee, and even wine. Everything is available for your...

Thank you for the nice review and ESPECIALLY thank you for the suggested areas for improvement. I discussed serving portions with our innkeepers. We have ALWAYS wanted to fully satisfy guests with quantity and well as quality, but apparently we failed in this instance to ask if you had enough to eat or if you would like to have more....

A nice mansion type B&B in old Louisville. We had a 3rd floor room with a small balcony overlooking neighbouring Central park that was a wonderful place to have a morning coffee or evening drink; as well as the Warren room (which is basically a two bed no-bathroom add-on room) for our two college age daughters. This Inn and innkeepers...

What a nice, informative review. Thank you for the praise, and on behalf of future travelers, thanks for the good info about the neighborhood, and activity and restaurant mentions. Just one correction-- no, just one update. Since this review, namely December 2, 2016, this mansion obtained an ABC license allowing us to serve alcohol to overnight guests, we installed a...

We were recommend this B & B by David Domine who has written several books on Old Louisville. The Inn at the Park is in a neighborhood of other grand homes of the turn of the century. Our host Herb and his wife has taken great pride in restoring this and the DuPont Mansion across the street to its original...

Myself and my husband spent our 10 year anniversary here 07/08/16. We live in the city and I literally work 3 minutes away from this Awesome gem! I surprised my husband as he had been lead to believe we were staying at the Galt House since that was where we "honeymooned in the city" 10 years earlier, but I wanted...

Thank you for the extensive, glowing review. I am a little puzzled by your rating, wondering how we could earn the 5 stars we strive for. I want to alert guests that the main house where you stayed was rebranded on Dec. 2 as the Louisville Bourbon Inn. The Carriage House on the property remains "Inn at the Park" and...

The Inn is simply beautiful! We stayed in the Mayor's room and it was perfect, exactly as described. Went to The Tavern for dinner-delicious and one of Herb's recommendations. Enjoyed the peacefulness of the back porch during the evening. Herb was a wonderful host. Certainly worth the stop.

Thanks for the plug. We made a couple of changes since your visit. A great couple, both trained chefs, are now Innkeeping here and I am the " "backup". They are doing a wonderful job. We love this place! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The common areas are spacious and beautifully furnished as well. We especially liked the covered veranda in the back of the house...it was really hot while we were there and the porch was nice and cool. Breakfast was excellent and Herb was the perfect host. We will be back!

Glad to return. Great convenient location in "Old Louisville Historic District" across the street from a great park and it's sister property the Dupont Mansion B&B. Both are great with free parking and wonderful innkeepers with a choice of restaurants within an easy walk. If you have hesitated to do a B&B, either of these would be a great first...
