This magnificent home in the park setting of many magnificent homes was a true delight to behold. Most of the original amenities built into the home were very rare or one of a kind. A oerfect example is a georgeous "split flue"fireplace which included a built in leaded glass external window. We stayed in the huge StJames room a huge attached bath and it was wonderful. We were able to look at most of the other rooms and were amazed at the size and decoration of them all. Every part of the structure was remarkable even down to door knobs and brass hinges and waz llpaper. The home is also furnished with some of the finest southern antiques I have seen. Now for the best part, breakfast was some of the finest Southern food I have had. My wife and I both agreed that we needed to come back and stay several days to enjoy it all. Due to weather we did not get to see the gardens or visit the park which looked so inviting. Guest parking was adequate but on a busy street but had no problems. Would highly recommed this experience. A good example of Select Registry excellence.

We were delighted with the accommodations and perfect hospitality. The inn occupies an old mansion, beautifully restored. The hosts/chefs were the soul of graciousness and very excellent cooks. The place has a friendly feel with coffee & tea always available as well as cookies, chips and candy. It was Bourbon and Beyond weekend and many places were already booked. We were in Louisville for a wedding, and found that other late-reserving friends paid about the same as we did for for much less interesting accommodations.

What a fabulous stay at this lovely Inn. Loved the charming mansion and exquisite decor. We loved spending time in the Bourbon sitting room and enjoying all the decanters and memorabilia of Kentucky. We were traveling with another couple and we both rate this Inn as NOT TO BE MISSED! What a delightfully beautiful and delicious breakfast. Bourbon inspired foods! It certainly made our Bourbon Trail experience a 10 plus!

Inn at the Park is a wonderful B&B to stay while in Old Louisville. The greeting and warmth you receive as well as a history and tour of the grounds is lovely. We stayed in the bridal suite and it was more than enough room for the two of us. Everything was so clean and well kept. You want for nothing and they spoil you rotten. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and fresh. The location is ideal especially if you are doing dinner at 610 Main (had to put a plug in), walking tour of the Old Louisville or wanting to enjoy the park.

From the personal phone call to be sure everything was all set for us to arrive, to the tour, to the breakfast, to suggestions for entertainment, everything was perfect. Great bed. Great bathroom. Great location. Thank you, Erica and Gayle. We will be back!

We thank you for this wonderful, 5 Star review. So glad everything was "perfect". That is our goal. If there I anything less than that during a visit, we want guests to tell us so we can fix it. Thanks again.
