This Hotel is an unbelievable Hilton Property! The Lobby is a work of Art with Marble you can stare at for hours! Good front desk, great location, beautiful rooms spacious and glamorous! This is a must stay Hotel for downtown Louisville Visitors!
We have stayed at this hotel twice, with the most recent being in April 2022. We love this hotel. Clean, modern, spacious, and a great location. Walking distance to the center of restaurants. We will be in Louisville annually for the next 6 years, so this will be our go-to place to stay. In fact, we've already booked for spring of 2023. We really enjoyed the city of Louisville, and coming back to this hotel at the end of each day made it so much more enjoyable.
We stayed at this hotel during our last visit to Louisville and enjoyed it so much we decided to book it again. It is a close walk to restaurants and bars along 4th St. We also walked to several Distilleries. The rooms are clean, roomy and comfortable. Love the King size bed and the bedroom that can be shut off from the living area. We also had a small refrigerator, table and chairs, couch, nice bathroom. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was always good and had an array of selections: made to order omelets, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cold cereals, fruit, pastries just to name a few. In the evening they had a complementary reception with free drinks and an assortment of snacks. The hotel is attractive and the staff is helpful. Would recommend this hotel for your stay in Louisville.…
We were in Louisville this weekend and chose this hotel for our accommodation. Everything about our trip was flawless! The lobby is beautiful and very chic. We checked in on the Hilton app and got a notification about 1:00 in the afternoon that our room was ready. The staff we encountered at the happy hour and in the breakfast were all engaging, pleasant, and professional. We appreciated the snacks and drinks as well as the breakfast. As always, the omelets and accompaniments were delicious. Valet parking was $40 but we were able to find our own parking in a garage about a block away for $15. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.
Wish we had skipped Louisville! We spent one night on our trip across country. But, this is not what we hoped for! There were drug addicts outside the front door at all hours. Fourth Street pedestrian avenue is a bust and actually felt very dangerous. We learned after the fact that 2 visitors to the area were the victims of a horrific crime in September 2022. Look it up. As for the hotel, our one bedroom suite had no windows in the living room. Apparently, half of the rooms are this way. The tv did not have access to any movies, Netflix or similar…. Only a few local stations. On a positive note….. all staff was very friendly and efficient… including the front desk team, happy hour bartender, restaurant crew and room service team! All had a great attitude and did their best! The beds were very comfortable, and room was clean.…
A nicely appointed hotel in downtown Louisville. Walking distance to most attractions, restaurants, and distilleries. Hotel was clean and well-maintained. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Special shout out to to Jillisa Kiggins at the front desk. A morning breakfast buffet and evening reception are included in the daily room right. A great place for anyone and especially families to stay.
Pros: Hotel was immaculate, valet was prompt, room was clean and comfortable, and the reception and breakfast were very good. Very nice place to stay! Cons: when we called to inquire about parking before arriving at the hotel, we were told valet parking was available for $36 per day. After we checked out, we were charged $40 (four dollars isn’t much money, but it’s the principle that matters). Upon arrival at the hotel, there was only one receptionist at the desk. She was on the phone and did not acknowledge our presence for several minutes as she chatted. Was unprofessional and out of character for such a nice hotel. I might expect that at a low-rent hotel, but not an upscale Embassy suites She did apologize after the call for taking so long.
This is a nice hotel for a good price. Rooms are pretty and clean. Seating area separate from room is great to have when kids are with you for privacy changing and such. Shower was comfortable. If you need to dry your hair, bring your own blow dryer. This one is AWFUL. Picture an early 1990s hair dryer, still in use. It has the strength of a child blowing out candles, and is so hot that it cycles repeatedly between cool air and fire-hot likely due to a safety mechanism that prevents it from starting on fire. Took 30 extra minutes to dry my hair, and I can see actual damage from how hot it was. Save your hair and your time and bring your own dryer.
This Embassy suites louisville was better than what I have grown accustomed to with my past experiences with the chain in other various locations. Although the bathroom light fixture was partially broken and not lighting and the AC/heating unit was sqeeling throughout the night, overall it was a good stay. Breakfast in the morning was good and had a decent variety. Not bad for about $110 a night plus tax. Parked at a meter outside the hotel, did not do the valet. They were nice and gave me late checkout as a gold member.
We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton recently in downtown Louisville. I love that all the rooms are suites, it makes me feel like it is apartment living while I'm on travel. All the staff from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were excellent and professional. Checking in was no problem and we enjoyed the valet parking service. It was literally just a few dollars more and was so much more convenient. I forgot my gloves and hat in the car and the valets ran and grabbed the car so I could go through it and grab them. We were there just a few weeks ago when the temperature dropped quite a bit. Breakfast is great with an "Eggs-to-order" Chef on-hand who knew what he was doing. The Breakfast buffet had everything to choose from including fresh fruit, coffee, tea, sausage, bacon, pancakes and more. Cereal and yogurt for the health conscious traveler too. Check out the pictures. The elegant water features in the hotel lobby and reception area are modern and sleek in this old building. A really nice touch. There was meeting space there as well and the location is perfect to walk around Louisville. Within walking distance of the Tourist Information Center so you can grab information about the town easily too.…
