Fantastic visit! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The art was very interesting. The location was good. The room was very nice. The bar was cool. The restaurant was spectacular. Excellent menu. Great wine list.
Wow, this place is terrific. The hotel is comfortable and beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. The art galleries are outstanding. The restaurant has very delicious and unique breakfast choices. So much fun. Went to the Louisville Slugger museum, right around the corner, which was also very fun and informative. Loved the big statue of David and Bourbon tasting at Michter, also around the corner. Highly recommend this hotel and area. Everything was in walking distance.
The 21cHotel in Louisville is an amazing new concept in Hotel stay! Not only were the rooms spotless and well appointed, but the staff was helpful and truly a pleasure to converse with! Thank you Jason! The various art work around the Hotel is innovative, thought provoking and interesting. Pity none were for sale! Make your reservations quickly while in Louisville to spend a few days in this well located, beautifully planned Hotel. Although we did not dine in the Hotel restaurant, other travelers were quick to say how wonderful the food was! Enjoy!
Nice enough hotel. But they over charged by $200, and did not respond to 4 emails, so I had to call in order to receive my invoice to check. They then told me I wasn't overcharged but they had taken more money as pre authorisation and I should wait 3-5 days for this to be reversed. Unacceptable service, none of the other hotels on my recent US trip did this.
I stayed at this hotel a few times in the first 5 years it opened. In June we booked it for our wedding night. The staff at the desk was rude and not welcoming. When I was having issues the owner Mr Wilson was standing next to us and walked away. It starts at the top and his staff showed no hospitality from our check in to check out. I will never be back. Beautiful art museum and greta restaurant but the service and run down room and owner make it a place to stay away from. When I wrote in twice to customer service, they never answered in 2 weeks. I called today and still no apology or resolution. I will never recommend this hotel again.
My husband recommended this hotel after staying here several times. I'd give it a B+. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The rooms were pretty nice but I think the rooms felt a bit "tired". I would stay here again but might take a peek at rates elsewhere to compare options.
Interesting art and decor. Rooms Spacious, no housekeeping offered, beds fine, pillows just AWFUL. Service perfunctory, waitstaff in lounge-efficient. Just ate a quick breakfast which was fine. We really didn’t stay in hotel much as we were doing Bourbon Trail, but not sure we’d stay again.
We stayed at this hotel several time before but this visit was very disappointing … We booked a stay with breakfast included ( usually the breakfast are wonderful) to find out in the morning that there was no breakfast available. In addition, no real apology and we had to negotiate to get ot breakfast credited . So disappointing from a hotel chain we used to love and recommend to everyone.
This is my second time to stay and not disappointed. I found the rooms to be beautiful and well appointed. We had a view of the main street and could see the river. I loved the staff as they were wonderful. The lounge has the best cocktails in town. If you want dining it is right there as well. Very good food an they allowed for my food allergies.
I LOVED this hotel! The art museum aspect was so fun and unusual. The room was just as quirky as the rest of the hotel. The black lights in the bathroom were a unique touch, as well as the exposed brick wall and quirky art. The staff was incredibly accommodating to my needs. If I end up back in Louisville, I would not hesitate to stay again.
