The pool is hands down the best part. Sitting watching the sun, bar nearby, I had a hard time pushing myself to go find food after my trainings. The room was adequate, but no microwave. Restaurant groups downstairs weren't my cup of tea, but they had some fine enough options. Walking around the area was like every other big city.
This is an excellent Hotel and location. Wonderful staff and clean rooms. Definitely will come back again. Ate at Bobs Steak inside the hotel and it was also great! The staff is super friendly and attentive. This is a really good hotel in town.
Disappointment from the front desk on. 40 minute wait to check in. 2 people at the counters. Room is ok. Little worn for the prices. Asked about restaurants etc. not open today unless u want. 50 steak a la carte. Went to the iron horse tonight- second night. The woman at the register has a major attitude. Food was terrible. Maybe she spit in mine as I mentioned his much the property sucked. I should have stayed at the seilback or marriott and walked here for the meeting. Oh yeah. Needed care around 330. Must have waited about 30 minutes and there was only one person in front of me. I was generous with a 2- but housekeeping was good even if they didn’t come in my room while here
Loved our stay in this hotel. Amazing lounge areas. Friendly staff. Rooms are nice. The bed was not my fav (a little soft) but we really enjoyed the quality. Rooftop pool area is very nice. There are tea bags next to the coffee machine in the room, but the machine will only process coffee pods unfortunately, it will not brew hot water.
I spent the night of June 23 at the hotel in connection with a speaking engagement. The facility is beautiful, my room was luxurious, and the staff were all attentive. Nevertheless, I ran into some difficulties with food service, and raised my concerns with Mr. Steve Quackenbush, the hotel's Director of Operations. Here is the text of my e-mail to him: "Steve, I want to sincerely thank you for your help this morning. Thank you for listening to me with attention and respect. Thank you for not making excuses, but instead telling me what you are already doing to address my concerns. And finally, thank you for going out of your way to help me with my phone charger, and for your numerous other offers of assistance. They were all very much appreciated. I am confident that, with you at the helm, the Omni Louisville will resolve these issues and become the great hotel it is clearly on the way to becoming. Your courtesy and what I call 'personal professionalism' really made a difference with me, and I will not hesitate now to recommend your hotel to my friends and my professional colleagues." Good management makes a huge difference.…
We stayed here twice on a recent road trip. I have platinum status with Omni so we were upgraded to a suite each time. It was beautiful and spacious and the service was excellent. The rooftop pool and hot tub are wonderful and we enjoyed some bourbon at the Library as well.
Check in good, pleasant lobby and lounge area. Room on a high floor overlooking the back of the pool. City view. Nice room with good amenities loved the Bourbon Mini Bar. We did not use the pool due to the weather being cold but it looked inviting and would have spent time around it the pool bar looked good. We used the adjacent market area for breakfast it had a good range of eateries and a coffee shop. Good location not far from 4th Street and Bourbon trail. Comfortable night sleep and nice decoration throughout. All of the staff that we came in contact with were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.
Bobs steak house is very good but the "speakeasy" is a total rip off and the bartender is very rude. You can't get a decent pour and the service is so slow, avoid it unless you like to be ripped off. The photo of my pour is supposed to be 2 ounces but only if you can't count.
This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I love this hotel! There are so many amenities in this hotel including restaurants, bars, spa, pool, gym, etc. I love the ambience of the hotel and I love that the rooms include robes to lounge in, actual glasses to drink from and of all things a steamer! This hotel is located within walking distances of a lot of great restaurants, 4th St. Live, The Palace, etc. if you haven’t been to Louisville, I recommend this hotel to get a feel for the Bourbon capital.
My star rating my seem odd for my review but its based on value for money. I think this hotel is gorgeous and we love the library bar. We enjoyed a glass of wine there prior to going out for dinner. Our room was very clean and nice. My husband had ordered a package where we were supposed to have chocolates and champagne delivered after 6pm. We returned from dinner and nothing had been delivered so we had to call the front desk and ask which kind of ruined that part of his surprise. The hotel was packed that weekend and they kept things clean and the staff we encountered was polite. I gave it 3 stars because of having to remind them of the surprise and the cost of the room compared to other hotels. The parts we enjoyed most were the library bar and pin and proof which we could have visited while staying at a different hotel.…
