The Louisville Bourbon Inn is a jewel we should all try on at least once or twice daily. The structure, decor, food and most importantly, the attentiveness from Ellen and Scott was well outside of any experience we imagined...

I can’t say enough about Ellen’s amazing hospitality and her beautiful, comfortable home. She is an amazing woman who has this whole bed and breakfast thing down to a science, adding her charm, making our time at her home a wonderful experience ... We loved the bourbon trail, touring Churchill Downs, even if no racing :(, the Muhammad Ali museum and the NULU area with boutiques etc... Ellen and Ken gave us great restaurant and bar recommendations and served delicious breakfasts every morning...

We chose the Bourbon Inn after a visits on both a Christmas Tour and Ghost Tour of old Louisville... We were staying at the Inn after our wedding ceremony so needed to check in late which Ellen made extremely easy to do... We got lucky during our stay with Shakespeare in the Park going on that weekend so were able to just walk across the street to see the show...
