The perfect place to stay cause its just off the highway for easy access to all atractions. The house has been restored to its original time and is breath taking. The hosts are very friendly and they make an awesome breakfast that you'll want the recipes for. Will be back next time we come to Louisville.

This was the perfect bed and breakfast! Victorian antiques, homey, comfortable, peaceful, quaint, friendly. The owners were so awesome we hugged them goodbye. It is a pocket of peace in the midst of the Louisville suburb. You feel like your miles away in the country but just 10 minutes from the action. It was 5-star service. Best of all was... More

The Tucker House is a wonderful bed and breakfast sitting on five acres of private gardens. The lovely mid-19th century home offers four guest rooms nestled among tastefully presented antiques. Our breakfast meals were served in either a dining-family room that was a comfortable and cool place to eat surrounded by lots and lots of glass looking out on the... More

Sadly, we only stayed one night as this was one stop over on a long cross-country road trip. The home is beautiful. The room was large and comfortable and very clean. The pool was a wonderful bonus. The breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were friendly. You really can't ask for much more!

This is a one-of-a-kind restored antebellum Southern home, filled with period antiques -- very unique. The bed was extremely comfortable. Devona & Steve, our hosts, were charming. And the breakfast was to die for. All in all, an incredible experience at a lovely, tranquil location. As my husband said, "It has a nice vibe." A nice change of pace from... More

My wife and I recently went to Louisville to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We've stayed at a couple of different B&Bs there in the past and could've gone to one of those again, but I decided to check tripadvisor to see if I could find another winner. Boy, did I!! This is out of the way on a small road,... More

We stayed at Tucker House over Christmas for our first time. My nephew lives in louisville and I found Tucker House on Trip Advisor. We were close to the city, my nephew, yet in the country. It is a beautiful old home. We were told we had run of the house. Breakfast was tasty with their special recipes. We entertained... More

My husband and I stayed four nights at 1840 Tucker and this was the perfect place for a visit to Louisville. The location is an easy 12 miles from Louisville but still in an area with restaurants and shopping. The property is very special with a perfect restoration of this historic property. Even though the house was constructed in 1840,... More

We really enjoyed our fall getaway. Gracious hostess who gave us the tour and was very relaxed despite having a full house. Especially enjoyed all the little extras- microwave, fridge with drinks, snacks, fresh cookies, deck. The first morning our breakfast was excellent but the next morning it was over the top amazing- quiche, warm apples, bacon, goetta, and a... More
