If you like a charming, filled-with-antiques (nice antiques), unique B&B in a lovely location, then look no further. This place is great! When you walk inside you are immediately surrounded by lots of lovely objects - beautiful old furniture, paintings, beautiful little things. As another reviewer wrote, you do feel like you are at the Vanderbilts. It is so special... More

Beautiful mansion, like a museum with amazing antique furniture. Rudy was pleasant and provided a yummy southern breakfast. We stayed in the Little Colonel, nice BIG clean room and bathroom. I would advise if visiting in the summer that the rooms on the third floor can get a little warm. We had an A/C window unit near our bed which... More

Walking in the front door, I had to pinch myself wondering if I had mistakenly entered a house of royalty. But Rudy, the proprietor welcomed my companion and myself like we were old friends. The splendor of the mansion cannot be overstated. Every room is a treasure trove of antiques, artwork, and incredible thought for design and coordination. Rudy told us we... More

East Room. Very class Victorian with the perfect accessories. We did not feel like we were sleeping in a field of poppies or doll house. Very comfortable, quiet, private and beautifully appointed room and bathroom. Host Rudy and Jason, were inviting and comfortably charming. Great breakfast with all the splendor of days gone by. Looking forward to returning in the... More

In the midst of Historic Louisville is a lovingly restored mansion which has been changed into a beautiful B&B. The main floor has been kept as it was. The sitting rooms are inviting, and the dining room has silver and crystal everywhere. Rudy, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He recommended restaurants and activities which we thoroughly enjoyed. The... More

We spent two nights at The Samuel Culbertson Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn in the old historic area of Louisville. Our hosts Rudy and Jason were so friendly and helpful in all respects. The house is filled with beautiful antiques collected over the years. You could almost feel like you were entering the Victorian era. An elegant home made breakfast... More

I don't know where to begin, our stay was simply fantastic. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous and Rudy and Jason were wonderful hosts. To address some issues raised in earlier reviews: We parked on the street, but never had an issue finding a spot. Breakfast was fantastic and there was certainly enough offered. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious.... More

Samuel Culbertson Mansion Inn is the BEST B&B hands down!!! My husband and I drove to Louisville to our original hotel we were suppose to stay at on Friday night only to find out that hotel gave our room away! Garth Brooks was playing this weekend and every hotel within 15 miles had no rooms available at all! So my... More

Southern hospitality and charm exudes. Rudy, the owner, was super sweet and a great cook. The Southern Charlotte that he created and served for breakfast with bourbon infused whipped cream was superb! He even shared his recipe. Rooms were large and evoked the era that the home was built, what with the club foot tubs in the bathrooms, the vintage... More

I am not one to mince words. My stay at The Samuel Culbertson Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn was worst of any B&B I have stayed at. After fumbling my way thru the entry, I was greeted by a rather pleasant young man who showed me to my room. After traveling for 10 hours, I found it necessary to use... More
