Room was way too pricey for what you get. $1000 for four nights is too much!! The food was overpriced and limited selections. Who serves biscuits in the South for breakfast without gravy? Not enough staff for a group our size. Took way too long to get through the buffet line.
They had a conference of creepy old men who made you feel unsafe and tried to force you into rooms with them. Security and staff didn’t care! Just played it off. We were scared to leave our rooms!!! Galt House get it together
So we rented a room at the west tower floor 24 and I guess the restaurant is right above that particular room because we could hear people walking the whole time we was there my wife was not able to sleep weel because of it, really terrible experience won’t recommend this hotel to anyone
Great Hotel! Food was amazing! Service and staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean! Highly recommended for a family getaway and they have the river boats right next to and it’s just down the street from the slugger museum and science center!
It started out bad at check-in. We were there for a convention (1000+). The front desk person that "served" me was rude and didn't appear to enjoy or care about his job. He told me I had reservations for two rooms. When I showed him my confirmation that clearly showed one room, he argued with me and finally said "OK, I'll just cancel your reservation." I looked surprised when he turned away. I actually thought he wasn't going to check me in at all. When I finally got to my room with all my luggage, I began putting some things away in the front closet and on the desk. When I walked to the bedroom I was shocked to see some dirty cleaning wipes laying o the bed. I figured I'd relay that info to the desk when I had a chance. I went to put away my remaining clothes in the dresser. When I opened the dresser drawer I was appalled to see dirty women's undergarments! (see photos) I went down to the front desk and told them what I'd found. The lady at the desk was shocked and began finding me a replacement room. She asked the gentleman that checked me in what else she could do. He tossed her a free meal and free drink ticket. I explained that all my meals and drinks were covered by my convention registration and thee guy took the tickets back without comment. I wasn't offered anything additional, nor was I offered help to relocate my luggage to the new room. When I got to the new room, there were no washcloths. I called and asked for a couple and they told me I had to come down and get them! I was there for four nights (at a cost of just under $1000.00) and housekeeping never entered my room. During the days I was there I noticed some of the same trash in the elevators and around the floors remained there for 2 or more days. I wondered if they had any housekeeping at all. Others in our group had similar experiences (though without the undergarments in their dressers). In general the staff other than those serving our meals (buffet style) appeared uncaring and oftentimes rude. The meals were barely edible. Everything was dry and/or overcooked. I understand that it can be difficult to serve a large number of people, but that's not an excuse for not being prepared. I've stayed at this location on a number of prior occasions both for conventions and on business and I was looking forward to staying there again. I was sorely disappointed in what has happed to this hotel in the past two years. I'll likely never return.…
