Eighth Pole Inn was beyond our expectations, the rooms are large and comfortable, besides being beautiful we were lucky enough to be there when some foal had just been born. The location of the Eighth Pole is close to everything which makes it convenient no matter what you want to do. Jason is the perfect host as he makes you... More

The property has recently been renovated and building and grounds are beautiful. It is a small horse farm located in the heart of horse country near Keeneland. We enjoyed the outdoor gardens and watching the mares and foals in the fields. The owner/innkeeper very personable and helpful. Breakfast was made to order. We just spent one night and wished we... One of the nicest places we have ever stayed ! It was like staying at a friends beautiful home. The decor is so clean and crisp, and at the same time warm and cozy. The property is absolutely gorgeous. It was so relaxing on the front porch with a glass of wine, watching the little foals with their mamas. We were welcome to... More

How wonderful to arrive to a gated estate. Immediately you feel special. The house and rooms are immaculate. We were lucky enough to be there when there were baby horses.. spent hours just watching them run and play. Staying there and visiting the near by horse track made me fall in love with Kentucky!! And the owner, he is very... More

Where do I begin? I absolutely fell in love with everything about this beautiful place in blues grass horse country of Kentucky. Jason the proprietor was quiet at first but we learned so much from him as we chatted . The Inn was in fabulous shape after the complete renovation a couple of years ago. The room was fresh and... We were looking for a place with a little more space in the middle of horse & bourbon country and the Eighth Pole Inn was perfect. The setting was picturesque with mares and folds grazing out front, beautiful landscaping around the inn, fire pit and barn, as well as the well appointed, spacious suite we stayed in. Breakfast was hot... More

Came to this place for our first wedding anniversary. The ground and house were beautiful. The house was remodeled and has an upscale feel with a steam shower and heated floors in the bathroom. The horse decor with the horse racing history is great. Jason was a wonderful host and made us feel we were among friends. Getting to wake... More

We booked this B&B based on previous Trip Advisor reviews. It is a lovely inn with everything newly renovated. You are made to feel at home and the guests are invited to use the house, visit the horses and enjoy the outside areas. The grounds are beautifully manicured. We stayed in a queen room. The room is not large, but... More

Ana just whipped up a made to order breakfast , she's an amazing, attentive soft spoken staff member. We have just come in from a walk around the grounds, fresh coffee in hand, in which Julio, stable foreman, told us all about the horses in the beautiful brand new stables-mares and foals in immaculate surroundings, manicured grounds, boasting grand views...
