Stayed here because it was part of shopping area with restaurants but it is not an enclosed shopping area and weather was cold with some rain. Hotel new and clean but a little too “hip” for our taste- if you are traveling light might be okay- no closer - just hooks and about 5 hangers. Room large and bed comfy but furnishings more dorm like. Restaurant area pleasant but breakfast menu very limited. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Hotel has two loading parking spaces by entrance but no cover so when it rains they will provide an umbrella. Free parking within a short walk. Maybe in better weather it would be more acceptable.
Stayed here Black Friday night so my wife and I could relax after shopping and get a nice dinner walking distance from the hotel( J Alexander). We checked in at 4 pm and our room was a nice King room. It was 65 degrees in our room so we turned heat to 70 and left to walk around the Summit. We returned at 6 and it was still 65. I went to front desk to tell them. They sent maintenance right up, he decided the heat was out and turned on the emergency heat. They offered a new room but it started warming so we decided to stay since we had disinfected the room and had our stuff out. But 👍🏻 for offering a new room. We returned to our room after dinner and went to hotel bar for drinks. A complete fail. The girl bartending was nice but had zero knowledge. Said she was good as long as google worked. She couldn’t recommend anything that wasn’t on menu. Drinks were not good. Negative about room was absolutely no view. But that didn’t bother us but you might ask when booking. Only big negative was the shower head. They absolutely SUCK! Like taking shower in the rain. No pressure. I am sure they are expensive but they SUCK! …
This hotel was so clean and stylish. This hotel is conveniently located in the middle of a shopping center with so many nice, dining options. This hotel gets a thumbs up and the staff was very friendly. The bar and restaurant has tasty food options and specialty cocktails.
Booked a suite and an additional room for a girls day trip. The hotel made every accommodation so that our group could check in and get situated before heading to Keeneland. The rooms were furnished beautifully with throw blankets, coffee table books on Kentucky and just great all round finishing touches! We enjoyed having a small kitchenette with sink and mini frig. I thought the beds were comfortable, bathrooms were beautiful with great smelling shampoo products! All of us were thoroughly impressed and plan on returning!!
My family of four stayed 2 nights at the Origin Hotel at the summit at fritz farm. It’s a beautiful new hotel. Very clean and decorated well! We had an issue w no hot water and they were on top of it immediately!! Very good customer service and the issue was fixed promptly! The location is great! We loved all the shops and food options. Having Whole Foods right there was nice too. We Ubered to Keeneland from hotel, super easy! Very cool hotel and location!
