Monica is extremely happy and fun in the morning. Always a smile and a great attitude. She is crazy cool!!!! I would suggest stopping in to give it a try. In addition to the normal wares they also pack a mean breakfast burrito.

We stayed here while our daughter had orientation at UK. It’s a beautiful hotel, in a great location. Only minutes away from UK and steps away from some great restaurants. We had great service throughout our stay, but one employee really stands out. Myron was the security guard working. He was helpful, friendly, and so personable! He made our stay even better!

The mildew smell in the room was intolerable. We had to change rooms one wasn't as bad as the other but it seemed to be hotel wide. The rooms are very nicely decorated and seemed to be clean but the smell was overwhelming.

We stopped off at this downtown location on our way home from a Tennessee trip. Things were pretty decent for an older hotel. The digital key did not work in the elevator which was something that we needed to reach our floor. When we went to the front desk to get an actual key so we could use the elevator to get to the 17th floor we were told the digital keys do not typically work in the elevators. That is something that should be fixed for guests. The ice machine on 17 did not dispense ice. We did not use the safe because it was flashing low battery, as was the alarm clock. None of these are big deals…. We enjoyed our evening at the BBM and slept well. The reason for the low rating: Check out is noon at this hotel which we fully intended on taking advantage of on our final morning of vacation. Maintenance was knocking on doors to replace room filters at 9 in the morning despite the “no service please” door hanger. He apologized and asked if we’d like him to come back later to which we agreed. About 10 minutes later someone came directly into our room after one knock. He apologized and told us that we were on his list of empty rooms. At that point we got the hint, packed up and left before we had planned. We were clearly in the way. When we mentioned our morning at the front desk as we left the staff person there smiled and said that should not have happened but did not leave us with an impression that there was actual concern or that our concern for guest privacy was taken seriously. Other than an apology and an acknowledgment there was no attempt by staff to make our grievances right.

My husband and I stayed here three nights. My sister-in-law and other relatives also stayed here, as we were in town for a wedding. I liked the convenient downtown location. We were able to take a walking tour of nearby historic homes in the Gratz Park neighborhood. We were able to walk to restaurants and a liquor store. The neighborhood felt safe. The hotel was a good place for a family get together. There was a nice bar where we sat both indoors and outdoors. We had several decent breakfasts at the hotel’s restaurant the Triangle Grille. We did not try the breakfast snack bar. The hotel provided a private dining room for the morning after the wedding. We could get a breakfast from the restaurant, the snack bar or wherever and bring it into the private dining room for a group breakfast. The adjoining parking garage was convenient. We tried to drop off our room keys as we exited the hotel upon checkout, but could not locate the drop-off bin. You need your room key to enter and exit the parking garage.

This hotel is synonymous with the cutbacks that Hilton is making with its elite tiers status. When I walked into the room, it smelled musty covered over with copious amounts of air freshener (Febreze must make a killing off this hotel). It was warm and the room could not be cooled even though it was not facing the afternoon sun. The bathroom has zero ventilation (why the room smells musty). The room was clean, though, and as a former hotel worker, I make my own room inspections. The front desk staff were unimpressive and unimpressed. As a diamond member, it is nice to be welcomed; they made no mention of it. No free waters offered. There is no more executive lounge with its perks. No more free breakfast, though at this location, what I ordered was covered with the $15 credit, but that isn't true at every Hilton location. The one plus was the waiters at the restaurants. They were busy and overworked, yet they were attentive and met their customers needs as best they could. But as far as the hotel stay, I will sadly not return to this property if I return to Lexington.

Nothing works in this hotel. The AC unit was set to 60F in our room and it DID NOT cool. Only 1 out of 4 elevators in the hotel was working during 4 days of a conference with over 6,000 attendees. The elevator was never fixed. The fan that was brought to our room was also broken down. This hotel is the worst Hilton that I have ever stayed at.

We arrived at the hotel and found out the executive level rooms are not available after booking one. On the way to our room on the 9th floor the elevator broke and we were able to get out on the 22nd floor. We then had to carry our luggage down 13 floors to get to our room. Out of 4 elevators for the hotel they had one working the entire time of our stay. Bathrooms were dated and tiny. Restaurant menu was very limited. Parking was not convenient and barely any spaces available. We will never stay here again when coming to Lexington to visit our daughter.

The executive lounge is no more, unknown to me at the time of booking. Air conditioning in the room barely cools even when set to 60. One restaurant; no snack bar or gift shop to get something quick. Ic machine is broken. What does work here?

I was attending a trade show in Lexington and selected Hilton Inn as my hotel because I am a Hilton member and use their credit card. The facility has everything you need in recreation and sleep and food. Parking garage next door is very handy.
