I debated between a 3 or 4 review. Went with the 4 because everything was good with few shortcomings. Motel is very attractive on the outside and in the lobby. Room was well furnished and for the most part comfortable. The sink and vanity were very well lighted and spacious. On the whole the room was smaller and almost had a cramped feeling, but comfortable. Bed was softer than we like but we slept ok. Shower was nice with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was basically nonexistent with just granola bars and packaged sweet pastries.
Very clean, well kept lodging. Friendly staff. Lobby has framed information about the history of the owner....interesting. Bed comfy, shower great. Room was spacious. Location was convenient. Would definitely stay again!
Except for parking this is a nice little country motel. The rooms were clean, the TV was good. Great shower. All the workers were very nice. but there wasnt enough parking and at night people were driving in circles looking for an available space before giving up and parking distances away.
We have stayed in a lot of motels during our TransAmerica Bicycle Trail adventure, and this was one of the nicer ones. Our room was very clean as was the entire motel. We would defiantly stay here again.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They accommodated our request for a ground floor room, as we were traveling by bicycle. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything was in good working order. The only downside was that the doors were thin, and we could hear conversations from the hallway and from the adjoining room.
I was in town for a one day business trip along with another co-worker. We chose this hotel as it had decent ratings. My co-workers room smelled like marijuana and they had a dehumidifier in the room trying to clean the air. In my room there was a foul odor. I checked the garbage cans an in one of the cans was a condom wrapper and a used condom. I contacted the front desk and Rayven dropped everything she was doing to go to my room and change the garbage bags immediately. I would not stay there again.
VERY CLEAN...Smelled very nice and staff was very nice. No breakfast not even the grab and go but that is per the county not really the hotel....just wish it was updated with that info on the website.
We stayed at the Hatfield Inn recently. The staff were pleasant. I think it is an older hotel without the sound proofing you find in newer hotels because it was quite noisy. I would advise against booking on the ground floor for this reason. They did not have breakfast in the morning because of COVID-19. But the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, I believe they are all feather beds & pillows and they do not offer foam alternative for anyone who has allergies. I am very allergic to down feathers but for whatever reason, I slept there without any difficulties. I would rate this hotel a solid 3. But for cost efficiency, I would bump that up to 3.5 or 4 as it was very reasonably priced.
Paying Cash Should Always Be An Option When Booking a Room, Especially When The Debit or Credit Card Is Declined Through The Online Booking. Would Recommend This Hotel To Family and Friends. We Had A Great Time!
I really liked the beds in this hotel. They were very comfortable and they gave you plenty of towwls for my stay. The two double room was small. NONE of the hotel staff was wearing masks during Covid. This includes the front desk as well as housekeeping. This really worried me. There was plenty available as you walked in the lobby along with sanitizer. They even had a sign it was required. It was NOT enforced. Also my booking, on their personal website, showed a rate total of $109. There were no comments indicating extra taxes. My card was charged $117. I brought this up to the front desk and there was no reimbursement. No worries. Family owned small hotel, I"m ok with it, but I will not stay there again if there are other options.
