We came to Kentucky to do the bourbon trail and decided to stay outside of Louisville. So glad we did! This was a beautiful place to stay and Cheryl was so accommodating! We stayed in the Steeplechase Suite and it was very comfortable and roomy. The breakfasts were spectacular! We also enjoyed sweet Sammy, her Labrador. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back!
Cheryl the innkeeper is a pro and very proactive to make our visit outstanding. Her B and B is 15 on a scale of 10 in every way. Even her dog makes you welcome. The horses are very friendly. She has lots of tips on the best places to go if you want to travel locally. This operation is among Kentucky's finest.
From the moment we drove up to the time we left, it was like a dream getaway! Cheryl is such a wonderful hostess and Sammy was so friendly and fun. The breathtaking scenery, being around the horses and the beautiful estate were just what we needed! The breakfasts with Cheryl and the other guests was a great blessing as was the awesomely prepared food. We used the workout room and theater, the pool and hot tub and the bedroom was truly comfortable and welcoming. Everything was super clean and well maintained. This place is one we are definitely going back to. Thanks Cheryl, you are truly a blessing and we pray others will be blessed by your grace and joyful spirit!!! Steve and Christine Peloquin
from the initial reservation to our arrival to the spectacular view and ambience, to the hospitality of the owner, it was one of the best weekends away we’ve had in a very long time. And for the breakfast part, the food was phenomenal. We stayed in the turf room. Had a chance to mix and mingle with the other guests that were there. Everyone was very accommodating. Definitely beats the hotel drag.
This was my second visit. Last year I came with my parents and this year we did a couples trip with friends. Both years have been great. It’s so comfortable it feels like visiting a family member. The rooms are great, beds very cozy, and the grounds are gorgeous. The breakfast is phenomenal. I’m gluten free and Cheryl was so gracious in accommodating that. If you like running or walking the scenery is amazing. It’s becoming an annual trip for us .
It had been a long time since we were able to travel thanks to COVID but we were very lucky to stumble on this B&B for a needed getaway. Chery is a fabulous hostess and the service and amenities here are top-notch. Our travel date was to late in the year to enjoy the pool but this is on our return to list next year. Be sure to go into La Grange to enjoy the shops, winery and restaurants. And of course, the trains that go right through town.
We stayed for our time at Bluegrass Country Estate. My husband and I absolutely loved this B&B!! Cheryl, the owner is such a Gracious hostess and goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home and comfortable. The breakfast she made us each morning was delicious and gourmet. It was served to us in one of her beautiful sunrooms and the table was set so lovely. The B&B is straight out of a Better Homes and Garden Magazine. The grounds are breathtaking and the inside of the home is magnificent. We loved our bedroom. It was so comfortable. All the amenities you would need, even lavish bathrobes to slip on and watch a movie in the theater room. We will definitely be going back another visit. Highly recommend Bluegrass Estate B&B!!! Added bonus, she had 2 beautiful horses in the front and the sweetest dog Sammy who greets you with a smile, literally, smiles at you.…
This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and it far exceeded all of our expectations! Absolutely beautiful and comfortable home surrounded by very scenic country side with rolling hills and horse pastures. The owner and hostess Cheryl Sabin was so accommodating and gracious to us. Loved the hot tub, large theater and comfy spacious bedroom and of course yummy breakfast. We were celebrating my wife’s 65th birthday and we couldn’t have picked a better setting. Simply delightful!! Chuck and Susan Green, Owensboro, KY
Five girl friends returned to this luxurious place for a fun weekend get-away. This lovely home is in pristine condition, with perfectly manicured grounds and interior decor that could be a photo feature in a magazine. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts delicious (served on china plates and in crystal bowls). The pool area was perfect for lounging as well as swimming. We used the cabana area to eat snacks and sip wine and had a pizza for dinner there one night. The location is very convenient to other fun day activities such as Yew Dell and downtown Lagrange.
This was our second stay and Cheryl owner/ host is amazing!!! We went during the week and had the entire inn to ourselves. Breakfast was delicious. During this time of COVID19 we felt safe. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and the Theater Room. We always had our morning coffee on the back porch. Love her dog SAMMY!!! He's so SWEET!!! We had a very relaxing stay. We will returned again.
