My husband, our 14 year old son and I stayed the night on our way to Gatlinburg. They had a two bedroom suite available so they upgraded us to that room for our son's comfort which was very sweet. The beds were comfy, the food was delicious (even accommodating to my gluten free requirements), and Vita the Inn keeper is... More

We stayed at Hall Place for two nights and since we were traveling with our son, the two bedroom suite was a plus. The bed and breakfast is loaded with history and interesting decorations. A pool table is available in a common area upstairs. Vita, the hostess, prepared a delicious breakfast both mornings and sat and talked with us over... More

This historic Bed & Breakfast is just loaded with tons of historical books. Every room is just loaded with all kinds of historical decorations. You could spend all day just looking at all of the things within this building. The staff is very friendly and of course the people you meet who share the building for the evening are very... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend and his family over the Easter weekend and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The beds were very comfy and the house itself is like a museum - well decorated, historic, and interesting! Breakfast was great and the housekeeper was very nice. She said she only had worked there a week so wasn't able to give us... More

Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed the historic Hall Place B&B. Thank you for your note of concern, it is always best to share this in person. So sorry your neighbors weren't considerate of others. Hope to see you on the next visit. Blessings, Karin & Gary More

The accommodations were great and the building is a beautiful piece of history. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable of the the history of the building and the town. The breakfast was a good normal breakfast.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hall Place recently and I could not have enjoyed it more, our hosts were warm and welcoming and the old Hall Place was awesome in its age but incredibly well kept up, I would recommend a stay here to almost anyone, my teenage girls enjoyed but I guess are spoiled by modern amenities... Interesting bed and breakfast close to Mammoth Cave national park and Barren River Lake. We chose this place because it was near a festival that we wanted to attend. Be aware that you will be charged for room when you make reservations and it is not refundable. We arrived around 8pm and there was a wedding rehearsal dinner in common... More

Comfy room. Stayed in the Romance Suite. When we arrived, the door was unlocked but no one was here. I called and the key had been left for us. Difficulty getting the key to unlock our door but kept at it and entered a very nice room. The bed was comfy. The air conditioning was either too cold or not... More

Out to see all 59 National Parks, my wife and I chose the Hall Place B and B as our stepping off place for a three night stay while we caved, hiked, and toured Mammoth Caves NP, # 48 for us. We arrived early and were greeted by Karin and Gary. The room wasn't ready so Gary stored our luggage... More

What a great change from our typical hotel when traveling for work. The period furniture throughout the historic building was impressive. The breakfast was lovely and all homemade. The guest rooms were all unique and quite spacious. All had private baths, which was great. I loved all the antiques. Karen and Gary, the owners were very engaging and very helpful.... More
