Stopped here on a Thursday evening for food & beer. Have visited many times before and always been excellent. Two of the party wanted pizza for a snack, after queuing at the bar was told the chef was "to busy" to make pizzas, disappointed we sat back down.......45 minutes later 2 separate tables around us had a number of pizzas...

A nice inn out of way, but a lovely view of the river. Stayed for two nights, the rooms aren't too bad although the plumbing can get a bit noisy, headboard on beds were all loose, just niggily things really, but i have to say the food was very good and at a reasonable price. A beautiful spot for a...

From arrival to departure I and my three friends felt welcomed. The staff were more like buddies than staff, so friendly and genuinely warm and chatty. The front of the Ship Inn overlooks the River Severn on what I am sure, is one of the most picturesque meanders of the river. From the back of the Inn a short flight...

4 of stayed here from 24 April for 3 nights and cannot praise the accommodation, food and service too much. We were made to feel very welcome and this must be the best short break we have had. The setting is beautiful, the rooms very comfortable (rooms 4&5) and everything reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning ASAP

Four of us visited The Ship Inn for Sunday roast after booking a table following a recommendation. We arrived a little earlier than planned and decided to go for a stroll beside the river severn before taking our table. We could tell this was a well frequented pub by the cars in the carpark. The place was quite full and...

My wife and I and our Son and his wife stayed at the Ship Inn for three nights in April. The Ship Inn is located in the beautiful Severn Valley and overslooks the River Severn. At the rear of the Inn is the Severn Valley Steam Railway which can be used to travel to Kidderminster and Bridgnorth. The staff were...

Unlike a lot of patrons I'm not a passing visitor. Instead I frequent this pub every time I'm in the area , or even go out of my way to visit , usually on a Sunday. A few years ago a group of ladies took this pub on and turned it around. The Menu was expansive and the prices were...

We arrived on the Severn valley railway, which was a nice treat.Highley station is only a minute walk away. We were in our own side room and had our own waitress due to the size of the party. The food...
