New Owners!! Absolutely the most wonderful getaway! Maple Hill was a truly wonderful gem in KY! We were greeted by April and fresh baked cookies. The room was immaculate , charming and so comfortable. We ate dinner out the first night but stayed in the second night and enjoyed a charcuterie board and wine on the veranda. The bed was amazing and the sheets were the softest I’ve ever slept on! Let’s talk breakfast!! Oh my! Potato casserole with sausage, egg, bacon, and cheese croissant, yogurt, homemade granola and fresh berries! Today we had homemade biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit bowl, eggs and cranberry muffin, and side of bacon. Owner is retired military and they were both so pleasant to be around. They were available but not intrusive. Already booking our next stay!

My friend and I just wanted to plan a nice relaxing weekend and read about this B&B. We booked the Bayside Room, which was gorgeous. When we arrived, Sherri greeted us and gave us a guided tour. This B&B is meticulously maintained down to every last detail. This house was built in 1850 and rich in history. It overlooks the lake which makes for wonderful, scenic relaxation. The grounds are immaculately kept and we saw deer everywhere. There is a nice porch on the second floor with chairs and tables. You can eat your breakfast there if desired. Everything was spotless and beautifully decorated. The hosts, Jeff and Sherri were very welcoming and nice. They were kind enough to show us the private bungalow which used to be the old smokehouse and is now gorgeous with a private porch and entrance. I will definitely return during warm weather in order to enjoy the beautiful in ground pool. I am so thankful that I was able to visit this majestic house.

We had a lovely two-night stay in the Lakeside Suite which, as the name suggests, has a beautiful view of the lake from the room and screened in patio. The Suite as a TV, small microwave, large mini-fridge, coffee maker, noise machine and cork screw. The bathroom is large with a shower and clawfoot tub. The bed and sheets were super comfortable. The main house is full of gorgeous antiques and vintage clothing. I could not access the Wi-Fi from the Lakeside Suite, but had no problem from the main house. It was not an issue for me as I knew I would be in a rural area and told people that I would likely check email only once a day. Will look forward to staying here again.

Loved this B&B! The house is beautiful, historic, and filled with antiques from the time period. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable! The host was very friendly and helpful. We loved the stories she told! Breakfast was delicious! The pool was very refreshing and the temperature of the water was perfect! The location was awesome and we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch overlooking the peaceful lake view.

My husband have visited Maple Hill several times, and love the feeling of getting away and relaxing that this beautiful property and the owners provide. So quiet and peaceful. It overlooks the lake and our stress just melts away each time we visit. Breakfast is always wonderful!

Beautiful property. Clean. Pool too warm to enjoy. No kids or pets allowed. The breakfast was a carb overload. Waffles with fruit and cool whip and cinnamon. From other reviews, it looks like this is the standard breakfast. When the female owner noticed that I did not eat my breakfast, she just took my plate and said “oh, you don’t like waffles” and walked away. She never asked if she could make me anything else. I left hungry. I am a type 1 diabetic and have dietary requirements. I have stayed at other bed and breakfasts and there has always been a selection of food. I was never asked if anyone in our party had dietary restrictions. The owner told us that the property is for sale. She talked on and on about herself and her family at our breakfast so much that I had to excuse myself from the table. I have read her other responses to negative reviews and she is not very apologetic. Overall, the property is nice. Lots of wild life.

LOL...for those of you who like to read reviews I like to throw in a sense of humor with some of these comments...pool to warm to enjoy...well it was 93 degrees outside on a sunny day with heat index of 97... water tends to feel warmer after 3 hours of swimming...lol, you cant make this stuff up people. it never ceases to amaze me that guest want me to guess there food allergies or food intolerances. You did not respond to the text I sent you about meals and allergies when you booked I even mention I need to know days in advance (due to I shop for guest before they arrive not after) Sorry the conversation with your friends made you feel left out about their travels and living in Nashville when you got up and left. Yes our home is for sale and I answered your questions about our home. Thank you for the commenting about how nice our property is and yes we have a lot of wild life which adds to the view.

We stayed for two nights. In town for a family visit and wanted to stay someplace other than with family as it was our Anniversary weekend. Room was great, breakfast was great. We will go back for sure. Would recommend.

Stayed over night on a trip from BTV to SW harbor Maine. Wonderful restored farm house. Lots of history. Comfortable bed for sleeping. Direct access to hot tub and sauna. Amazing breakfast. Great service. Choose from a menu. Maine blueberry pancakes with local maple syrup (warm). Perfect. Walked around the property and found many different kinds of mushrooms. But forgot my autobon mushroom book.

We stayed at Maple Hill on our way cross country. The room was spacious and the bed was delightfully comfortable. We brought a picnic and sat on the porch overlooking the Cumberland River- just beautiful! We will definitely stay again as we make the drive often to see family.

Very nice Victorian home. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly courteous hostess. The most spectacular views of the Cumberland River. Great breakfast. The hostess has spent a great amount of time decorating, and has done a great job. This is a lovely place to stay. I highly recommend this place
