This was a perfect find to our journey around the lake. A gorgeous home with many rooms available. Each room is meticulously kept clean and tastefully decorated. Our room overlooked the lake which was beautiful. The food for breakfast was wonderful and they even made a special gluten free waffle for me. We will plan to rerun someday.

We spent one night in the Bayside Room, and enjoyed every second. We had a beautiful view of Lake Barkley from the floor to ceiling windows. It was a little chilly, but we walked down the hill to the lake and watched the birds on the lake from our Adirondack chairs. Very peaceful! Our bed was very comfortable, the shower... More

With gorgeous views of the lake, this is the place to relax. Beautiful 1850 home with comfy rooms and yummy breakfast. All very laid back with so much to do in the area, such as exploring the land between the lakes. I stayed in the Rose room with private balcony.

The Maple Hill B & B is hands down one of the best places to stay in the Lake Barkley area of Kentucky. The house is beautiful, Sherri has done an excellent job of maintaining the charm of the time period while ensuring modern comforts create a welcoming experience for her guests. We had a wonderful weekend away. The Rose... More

We had a wonderful time at Maple Hill. The house (built in 1850) is beautifully restored and Sherri, the owner, was very informative about the area. Breakfasts were very good with an elegant presentation -- salt cellars, knife rests, etc. We even had a wonderful cupcake waiting in our room, and coffee packets to brew.

Sherry is very welcoming. Very comfortable house, set in 1880's decor. She has a fantastic collection of antiques. The house sets on a hill overlooking Barkley Lake, with porches & rocking chairs. If you'd like to get away for a few days this is the place

The Maple Hill B&B is situated on a gorgeous green hillside with incredible lake views and access. We arrived early and were able to peek into all of the empty guest rooms, all of which were well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We opted for an upgrade to a larger suite with private front balcony. There are several other porches and... More

If you are hankering for a few days of relaxation and boat watching from bed, Bayside Room at Maple Hill is the room for you. We spent 2 nights there and had to drag ourselves from the room for meals. Each room in this beautifully renovated Victorian home were much larger than the website pictures revealed and well-appointed with luxury... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The property has been lovingly restored and rivals the beautiful plantation homes I visited in Savannah. There are period antiques which give the home an authentic, warm feel. We stayed in the Rose suite, which was huge, and came with a private covered porch. We swam in... More
