I have visited several times, this most recent trip was the first time in a couple of years. First off, the good: great golf course, good location, and an amazing view. The Bad: The Television's cable connection was loose, the dvd player was not connected to the television, there was a lot of water behind the toilet, and mildew was...

My husband and I stayed for two nights while we visited Bonavista and Trinity. It was adequate, clean and comfy. For great food go up 30 mins to the Bonavista social club. Everything is homemade and you might see a whale or two while you dine. The View resort is a condo. So don't expect hotel amenities. however they do supply...

The View is an excellent place to visit and stay. The view of the ocean around the golf course is phenomenal. The accommodations are great, clean, private, and very quiet. I highly recommend this place.

I stayed 2 nights at The View Golf Resort in June. Location: The resort is within 1 hour of drive to the town/city of Bonavista & about half hour of drive to Trinity/Port Rexton, which makes it a good base to explore the Bonavista peninsula. Room: Clean & spacious. The room has 2 bedrooms, a living room, dinning room &...

The view is amazing but the property is shabby. Furnishings like a college dorm. Smells funny. And God forbid you are hungry, there is nothing to eat for miles. We settled on the bar and had expensive grilled sandwiches that were served without a pickle, lettuce, chips, nada. Never missed Domino's Pizza so bad in my life. We do not...

Firstly, the property was beautiful. Its located on a bay - great views of the water and the setting sun. Gorgeous windows and balconies. The owners/management are very friendly and just a delight to deal with. Property sits on a 9 hole golf course, but no golfing needed to stay (thank god!). The property has a club house, which doubles...

Our family of four traveled from St. John's for a weekend away with friends and their children. This is really a hidden gem, in one of the most beautiful areas of the Province. The hotel was not difficult to find, but is a good 3 hour+ drive from St. John's. Check-in was easy and painless. However, we were surprised to...

The condo was spotless with all the amenities to make your own meals. We ate our dinner and breakfast in the dining room upstairs and breakfast in the downstairs eatery. The golf course was fun to...

After 4 of us had a round of golf we ate at the restaurant connected with the resort. Our food was excellent. Our friends said it was the best fish chowder they had ever eaten and they eat at least one meal out daily. I had the mussels in white wine and my husband had pan fried cod with a...

If you are in the Bonavista area, this golf club is a nice alternative to all the tourist places around Trinity. We happened to go here as the entire Trinity area was sold out, but were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was so nice to have quiet to sleep and a lean spacious place. We had a large...
