My family spent Thanksgiving weekend at one of the resort's 2-bedroom cabins/cottages. It was quiet, cozy, and had an amazing river view. Yes, it was a little dated, but not musty or stuffy. We thought the wood-paneled walls and plaid valance curtains were charming! In our cabin (#516) there was a queen bed in one bedroom, and a full and...

The girl at the campground told us we could look for another site as the one we'd choosen online was on a hill. We found a site with sewage hook up. Very nice. We hiked the trails and the colors were brilliant. We didn't see anyone on the trails until Sunday afternoon. The campground was closed to being full. The...

It's a nice campground, the bathhouse was disgusting. Thank God we have our own bathroom. All in all, it wasn't a bad place to go, but when they announced they were turning the water OFF at all of the sites, but would remain open.....

First time going to this park. We stayed in the pet friendly lodge. The room was updated and nice. The only draw back was the beds, there were way too hard and my wife end up sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag. The grounds were nice, Putt Putt was fun and our hike on the trail was great....

I couldn't get in contact with park supervisor no matter how many times I called. Rooms were okay but they're in extreme need of a renovation and upgrade. All in all it was an okay visit. Rooms were clean, workers were nice, and the view was great. My only complaint is that the food was horrible and restraint was dirty....

We enjoyed our stay at General Butlet State Resort Park. The room was wheelchair accessible and was clean and well furnished. The on site restaurant is good and wont break your budget. We are going to come back when the fall colors start.

No one cleaned or put toilet paper there.. Computers not working, couldn't use a credit card.. No one at shack.. This place going to ghetto... Needs to...

I came here with my family for a little getaway from the hustle and bustle of Jersey. My kids were excited to swim, my husband and I were excited for the bar, and we were just ready for a much needed vacation and to relax. Little did I know that this place was the worst place to pick. One of...

We were there this past weekend. the pool was very nice and clean. It does need some updating. The bathrooms by the pool were very disgusting..I asked them how long the pool will be open this summer they told me the day after Labor Day.. This is one of our high lights when staying. They should leave the pool open...

Stayed two nights at the lodge for a conference with my daughter who is disabled and uses a walker. We were assigned to a room down two flights of stairs which had a bath-only tub, no shower; when we explained that this was extremely problematic at the check-in desk, the clerk shrugged. The floor in our room was so dirty,...
