This isi a wonderful location to relax and take in a bit of nature. The inn keepers make you feel at home, the commons area has television, continental type breakfast and a refrigerator plus kitchen if you wish to cook your own meals. Rooms are very comfortable and everything is at a reasonable price point. We cannot wait to return.

Everything was excellent. They had snacks for us, a fireplace ready to go, extra eggs and milk, board games and more. The innkeepers were incredibly friendly and attentive and they made us feel safe and cared for. We loved it!

This was a spur of the moment idea to go somewhere peaceful and relaxing. The reservation agent did an excellent job accommodating our needs. This a beautiful well keep lodge in the eastern hills of the Kentucky Red River Gorge area. Don't hesitate to try this if your an outdoor, nature loving person.

The lodge is very rustic and beautiful. Our room was gorgeous with vaulted ceiling (2nd floor only) and the furniture was mostly made from pine logs, very nice. But, we would not consider this a resort; more of a lodge. These are no restaurants, no hiking, no gift shop; but the sign coming into the area says they have all... More

Stayed at Cliffview with my wife, and this was the nicest stay we've had at a resort like this. The staff was great - I think her name was Kara? But yeah, they go all out to make you feel like family. The resort is beautiful... it's GORGEous. Come check this place out. They have fishing poles for you to... More

For a while my friend has been telling us what a great place Cliffview Resort was and that we really should take some time and visit it. Since it's only 4 hours away we decided that we'll take a chance for our 25th wedding anniversary. The lodge is great, the staff, Tony and Terry were very hospitable; our room with... More

A good friend and I stayed at the lodge (she had been there before) this past week and had such a wonderful time of rest and relaxation. There is a home-type atmosphere and the beds are VERY comfortable. Our Hosts, Tony and Terri, became like family. There is a fantastic zip-line that I couldn't convince my friend to go on,... More

A must see and stay in the beautiful Red River Gorge area of Eastern KY. I brought my 7 yr old here for fall break and we loved it. We loved our stay! The lodge is tucked away back in the woods about 1 mile off the highway. We were greeted by Terri, who showed us around and made us feel like we were at home. Our room had access to the lobby by way of a hallway, and access to the wrap around porch by way of a... More
