We were highly disappointed in this KOA. There were only two tent camping spots used the night we were there. We were in a spot that was sloped quite a bit. The grass desperately needed mowing. When we checked in we asked about firewood since we were told we could buy it there. They didn't have firewood. The man who... More

Stopped for the night on my way to Orlando the owners were friendly but the place seems to need a facelift or some more upkeep the cable only worked half the time asked why it kept going in and out and they said it was probably my tv but it wasn't.

My family and I camped overnight in July 2015 in a class c motorhome. The management was friendly and accommodating as we were arriving after 830pm. After checking in, they escorted us to a pull through site which was helpful. All roads are gravel and our only concern would be the single lane entrance. If someone were to arrive while... More

I really don't like writing this review because the owners seem nice enough. I have been to many KOAs throughout the country. They are my go to campgrounds for extended stays. This one is not close to being up to KOA'S standard. I stayed for the 4th. of July week. I understand that the gentleman suffered a heart attack and... More

I was hesitant after reading several less than glowing reviews of this KOA property but decided to stopover and see for ourselves. We camp in a Class B 23 foot motorhome and were welcomed by Mary to the property. We inquired about her husband and learned he had (in the past week) suffered 2 major health related emergencies. Workers were... More

We go to this campsite every year, and the old lady and man always come and greet us personally. We always get the same site, which is big enough for two tents. It has a nice view of the pond, but the rest isn't as great. The Bathroom has SO many bugs, I try to avoid using it as much as... More

We rented a cabin with a deck for 6 days/nights. Supposedly overlooking a nice pond. Well the deck need repairs and the pond was dried out. The cabin smelled. We brought up our disappointment to the owners and they gave us a 2 bedroom cabin with a deck. Better but still had crummy picnic tables....the bathroom was dirty and the... More

We pulled into the campground and set our camper up. Turns out the cable TV did not have reception. I told the KOA lady and she said to find the man and ask him to flip the switch on the pole. I tracked him down (he was mowing) and asked him to do that. He did, but we still had... More

This koa is nice and well kept. The staff is great, very personable. The pool area and playground are nice. Lots of trees and quiet at night. We didn't have any trouble finding it off I-24, we followed the directions in the koa directory.
