Fantastic. This was a spur of the moment get a way for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Willis Graves Suite which is the largest on the site and has two adjoining rooms. The king bed was very comfortable. The huge tub is jetted and the hostess provided lavender salts for a gentle soak. An amazing steam assisted shower was a welcomed surprise. There is an outdoor gas fired fire pit for roasting smores. (The hostess provides a smore kit in each room). We met another anniversary celebrating couple around the fire. Bikes are also available. Jennifer (the hostess) is a real chef and the menu for breakfast offers many options. Jennifer offers her own homemade granola and yogurt. It was so good that we took some home with us. This B&B is conveniently located between the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. We loved the in room gas fireplace when the night grew chilly. We were able to include an anniversary package that made the stay even better. The roses that I ordered came with a traveling kit that made getting them home safe and easy. Jennifer has really made this B&B our most favorite one ever.

We needed a place to stay while visiting The Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter. We love Bed and Breakfasts and were excited to find a nice one so close to these attractions (only 11 minutes from The Creation Museum and less than 40 minutes from The Ark) . The inn is very clean and attractive. The innkeeper, Jennifer, was very conscientious of the Covid 19 guidelines. Due to these guidelines, breakfast was delivered to our room, but it was still the same delicious breakfast we would have had in the dining room. We are very glad we stayed here and would highly recommend it if you are going to the Ark or Creation Museum or any other place in that area.

Our family stayed three nights. We are a family of 4 and reserved the Thomas suite and it was amazing. We enjoyed the entire upstairs . Kids had a separate sleeping area with their own bathroom. But they were close enough to still check on them. The entire house was spotless. I’m the type of traveler that always brings sanitizer wipes to wipe down the “clean “ room. I did not even get my cleaning wipes out. Everything was clean!! Next , the breakfasts were top notch delicious. Plenty to choose from and tasted awesome. Also at night the owner would leave us sweet candies in our room for an evening snack. We didn’t want to leave. If you are looking to travel to this area do not hesitate to book your stay here. Almost forgot about the welcome cookies, needless to say but they were perfection. Stairs are steep but we had no issues.

Spent a night in the Garden Cottage to celebrate my birthday. It was exquisite. Every detail thought of. From the fresh cookies at check in to the heated floors, bath salts, jewelry trays, etc. The jetted tub was magical and the water piping hot. Bedding was plush and luxurious. We appreciated the large TV to watch a movie on and I enjoyed the patio in the morning to sip coffee. The breakfast the next morning was incredible. Truly. Some of the most delicious food I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. Take a night or two and book a room here, you won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to leave my condo. I wanted to go somewhere where someone would cook for me. It took me less than 30 minutes to drive to Willis Graves, but it took me a world away. The room was spotless, and that's coming from someone who walks around barefoot and does yoga on the floor--I tend to see what gets missed. The bed was cozy and the bathtub was heavenly and just when I thought it couldn't get any better, they brought me my breakfast. And don't get me started on their homemade chocolate chip cookies...

Meticulously clean, beautiful furnishings, amazing food ... and so much more. We so enjoyed our short stay here. We stayed in the Garden Cottage and the bed was super comfortable, and we appreciated the nespresso machine, heated bathroom floors and a small in room table where we enjoyed our breakfast. We wish would could give more than 5 stars - what a wonderful place.

Nothing was lacking during our stay. We stayed in both rooms in the cabin. It was clean, comfy, spacious, and had all of the comforts and amenities we needed. It is so nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and the showers are hot! The breakfast in the mornings were delicious! It really was a fabulous stay.
I enjoyed the little touches. The landscaping was beautiful. Cookies were in the room for us. The rooms came with espresso coffee machines and there were creamers in the refrigerator. There were s’more packs for the fire pit. Shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryers were provided. You could control the thermostat. We loved every minute of our stay.
My friends and I will return. Jennifer is a wonderful host.

We have been coming to the Willis Graves for almost 20 years, multiple times some years. It was excellent before Jennifer owned it but she has made it even better. Immaculate accommodations - both the rooms and the grounds are always spotless and tidy, comfortable and luxurious beds, showers and baths, superb food with choices, all the amenities one could want, and centrally located in proximity to many points of interest: Ohio River cruises, Lexington horse country, The Ark Experience, Big Bone Lick and many parks and arboretums. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance. Can't say enough good things about this B&B, the owner Jennifer Goodman is on top of everything and is personable as well as an excellent chef, and her server, Sara, who is an exceedingly gracious and nice person. We would recommend Willis Graves B&B in a heartbeat.

My husband and I recently celebrated his birthday with an extended weekend getaway in the Garden Cottage at Willis Graves. The accommodations were just beautiful! Everything was clean and comfortable from the snuggly warm white king-sized bed, to the heated floors, to the two-person jetted tub, to the huge tv. The pumpkins and the tasteful Halloween lights around the outside of the cottae added the perfect touch of festivity to the well-appointed decor. It was a great location for touring some of the area historic sites as well as for spending a relaxing day in bed. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious with a wide variety of dishes to choose from each day. We special ordered a birthday cake for our stay. When we called to ask what flavors were offered, our charming host, Jennifer, said, "pick any flavor you like." We did. The staff at Willis Graves made us the most amazing caramel apple, maple, pecan, cream cheese confection that we have ever tasted. It was definitely the dream cake, and we enjoyed every morsel. Take the time to spend a few days in the luxury that is a Willis Graves stay. You won't be disappointed.

We chose to spend our 32nd anniversary taking a road trip through Kentucky. The highlight of the trip was staying at the Willis Graves Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the adorable Garden Cottage. It is a perfect blend of vintage and modern conveniences. Upon arrival there were two peanut butter toffee cookies waiting for us and chocolates in the evening. The cottage had a mini kitchenette, comfortable king size bed and luxurious bathroom with heated floors. While the room was wonderful the food was worth the drive. Everything is made to order from generous portioned quiche of the day, cream brûlée French toast, homemade yogurt and granola and ginger pancakes. We even took a cooking class with chef and Inn owner Jennifer in the evening. I can’t say enough about Sara who made sure we were well cared for. We loved everything about our stay at the Willis Graves BnB!

No, but, there are numerous places to visit that are not far from there. They have numerous DVD's to watch on the room tv's. There are vineyards, a lovely State Park with hiking trails and a museum. Playgrounds and hiking trails are just up the road from the B&B, the Burlington Fair Grounds are right next door and they usually have some events going on throughout the year. There is even a Frisbee "Golf Course connected with the nearby playground and hiking trails.

$145/$165/$225/$235/$245. All rooms are extremely nice and well prepared and taken care of. Nothing seems to slip the Innkeeper's mind.

We saw no animals staying there and are unsure if they allow pets to stay. Sorry. I would check with them because they are very fair and friendly. They have pets if their own so it may be permitted.
