We stayed for our anniversary and the house is beautiful! The views are beautiful! Everything was extremely clean and very welcoming. The food was delicious, we recomend the stuffed french toast and oatmeal. We loved the friendliness of the owner and would recommend you stay here. The rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfortable.
My husband & I stayed here in early October. We were greeted by the sweetest pups & Ira is well versed in the history of the area. We learned so many interesting facts about Daniel Boone & his trip thru the area. The breakfast is amazing!!! Our room had a electric fireplace on the wall & one in the bathroom. Great rain shower & waterfall soaking tub. We slept great!
My girlfriend and I just stayed here and it was such a treat. Ira and his pups greeted us at the door and made us feel right at home. Our room was perfect as well as the food! Omg the food is superb!!
I loved my stay. The rooms are highest of quality, the views of the local mountains and foothills best in Berea, My sleep over felt serene, magical and satisfying. The breakfast was delicious, company and conversation icing on the cake to an already enjoyable experience. I enjoyed a bath by candle light in evening, a country morning walk, and then fresh coffee and fruit with the tastiest Eggs Benedict w/ homemade hollandaise sauce ever. Log Cabin Road is an incredibly sentimental place for me to visit, I feel very blessed to have a castle in these hills to come to when I visit Berea; the southern hospitality can't get any better than this place. Thank you so much Ira and Gina for hosting such a lovely B&B.
We were there for our first anniversary. It was a fantastic experience. The host know a lot about the city and helped us with the trails and good restaurants. We had amazing update in our room for free and the breakfast is really good, you feel like a princess. It’s a nice, clean, familiar place. If you’re looking for a calm place to stay I recommend.
We stopped for the night on our way back home to Ohio after a trip south. Looking for a comfortable, clean place with a lovely view and a hearty breakfast, we found exactly that in the Lee suite at Pinnacle View. The inside was spacious and well appointed. The view from the front porch was gorgeous. Breakfast was just what we ordered and delicious. Thanks, Ira and Gina!
The Inn is beautiful, our room was comfortable and the food was awesome. Ira and Gina were great hosts. The view from the front porch was very nice. The room offered plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the conversation with Ira was interesting, he is vey knowledgeable about Kentucky.
So we just wrapped up our stay here and I want to begin by acknowledging one of the coolest parts of the stay, the owner. He is an amazingly interesting man and was wonderful to talk to, make time to do this. It is definitely off the beaten path but that is probably what you are looking for in Berea. When we pulled up to the house, we were greeted by a pack of rambunctious and loving dogs which made it even better. I got to get them thoroughly riled up and then we headed up to the porch where the owner was waiting for us. He gave us a quick tour and some background on the house and the area (very knowledgeable). The inn is actually heated and cooled by geothermal power so that is a plus and they have a Tesla charger for those with an electric car. The room was wonderful (Lee), very clean and spacious, and the view was incredible. But the high points had to be the food (I had stuffed french toast, and I hate french toast, but this was other-worldly.), and the conversational with the owner (ask about the UMWA, or Boone's Trace.) It was a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away and experience a little luxury.…
The Pinnacle View Inn is a quiet, very remote, off the beaten path and quite different from our many bed and breakfast lodgings. Ira Bates is the owner and pleasantly greeted us upon our arrival. He invited us to sit and chat and openly shared the area of Berea and the college history which we found interesting; suggested The Boone Tavern for dinner (about 15 minutes away); took our breakfast order and showed us our room. We stayed in the Lee Suite which had the best view of the Pilot Knob. Huge bathroom with double sinks and jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was delicious. I only gave this place a 3 on the scale because of the cluttered and disorganized kitchen (to my standards). Apparently the cook knows her way around the kitchen because the breakfast was exceptional. The house needs some work around the grounds, but for the most part appeared clean.…
A wonderful and relaxing visit. The scenery was breathtaking. The Home is well designed and laid out to make the most out of the beautiful location. The interior is exquisite in every way. Ira, the Innkeeper is a joy to spend time with. He is well traveled and knoledgable. The best B&B we have ever stayed in. The food was a real treat. Ken and Sue Strahm Columbus, Ohio
