Very clean, decent bfast buffet, staff was extremely nice, well suited for my pups. Nothing fancy, it's really not as pretty as photo shows. I have lots of family in Bardstown and I will stay again if I don't find better place to accommodate dogs.

Stayed here for a weekend getaway. Great little hotel for the price. We're always looking for a cheap clean place with a great breakfast, and this was perfect. Free wifi and hot breakfast: sausage, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs grits, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, bagels, cereal etc. They are in the process of upgrading the rooms....but didn't affect us.

I traveled with pets so my room was in a single story building near the on-site restaurant. The room was average with a cute covered porch with a table and two chairs, motel style. Free breakfast is only served until 10, but there is a good buffet next door if you miss it. This hotel is a reasonable walking distance...

Excellent location...close to the downtown area.Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very dated...our room was cramped, and very old. Breakfast was very good and plentiful...eggs, cereal, sausages ,muffins, bagels etc. Location is the prime asset of this hotel....serves its purpose for a short stay.

Room was clean, smelled fresh, bed was comfy. They allow dogs ($25 each very reasonable) but we left ours at home nice to know that they care about our fur babies! Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Can't say a bad word about this place! Will stay again!

Stayed here last night and we were very pleased with the quality of the room. It was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We had everything we needed, it even included breakfast. Cute little town and with the stop. I would highly recommend.

We have stayed a few times at the General Nelson Inn Bardstown, however not during KY Bourbon Festival week. We stayed end of Nov this year as part of our stay in Kentucky. Check in was easy and efficient. We had a ground floor room facing the road entry. Being that it was facing the road there was minimal road...

If you are looking for a conveniently located hotel in Bardstown and you don't require fancy schmancy ammenities, this hotel is perfect. Our experience was stress-free, with friendly and easy check in. Thank you Tracy! Our room was simple, but clean. Breakfast was a nice bonus with a more than ample variety of selection and good, hot coffee. The best...

We had 6 rooms rented for Dec. 29,2016 for a sort of reunion - we asked for a space to get together and visit and the sells manager said that we could meet outside Or we could rent the banquet hall, they had no lobby and the Breakfast rooms was locked. When we mentioned that we may want to cancel...

The room was dated but clean with upgrade paper products and the bed comfy. It was close to all that we wanted to do and the breakfast was fine. Our AARP discount was not honored because we did not book directly with the hotel. Nothing special but ok for a night.
