We had such a fun night at the Old Talbott: ghost stories, yummy ribs and a first class band on in the bar. Our server was lovely and welcomed us to take a look around the old building upstairs although we were not staying there. The cover charge to the bar was waived, which it is if you're staying there...... More

Four of us got to the Tavern and the lineup for the dinning room was huge. We dove into the Tavern bar. There was trouble with the draft and we waited forty minutes before we got a substitute beer maker. The bar maiden was tough and incompetent. We went in for the unique building and was very disappointed with everything.

This is a great bed and breakfast. They have a bourbon bar and restaurant on site as well. The people are awesome and very friendly. This is now my 3rd stay at this location. The rooms are clean and quaint. There is nothing fancy here but the customer service level makes up for it. Food is excellent and the bar... More

Way too slow on the service for off season. Many food items were sold out. They weren't half full of patrons. Nice building worth a look. Prices were good I suppose. Hard to say cause we only order a beer each.

Stayed in the Jesse James Room, very nice and clean. Friendly staff and easy check-in, breakfast was decent. Nice history at this place, no ghost, but plenty of spirits in the attached Tavern. Nice balcony for guest only over looking the main square, you can smoke and take drink from bar up there to enjoy.

We stopped at the Old Talbott Tavern when heading to a nearby stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. It was mid-week, and the dining room wasn't very crowded. Service was great. I had the Bourbon-glazed pork chop and my wife had the pot roast. Both were well prepared. I will certainly return when in the area and would recommend to... More

We had dinner here on our last night in Bardstown. The food was good with large portions. I had the fish and my husband had the ribeye. A waiter that wasn't our's noticed me looking around at the architecture and the art on the walls. He gave us a sheet with the history and the hauntings stories. He offered that... More

We stopped and ate dinner and on a whim asked if any rooms were available. The Washington Irving room was and it has the biggest bed, why not. The room was nice. Over abundance of pillows but you can set them aside. There were only 10 channels but they did. Went for a walk around town and found Pokestops. Dorky... More

Upon arrival, we were advised that the suite we had reserved a month earlier was above the bar with live music until 1 AM. We had never been told any such thing when reserving this room. There were no other rooms available and we were asked to sign that we would not smoke in the room and not make noise.... More

We stopped for lunch after a few bourbon tours. Food was just OK... Hubby got pot roast very dry and very small portion of meat. I had wedge salad which had brown lettuce and not super tasteful. Waiter never asked how food was, but otherwise was super nice. Fried green tomatoes are to die for, loved the remoulade but he... More
