Having such a great weekend in Bardstown at Bourbon Manor. Todd & Tyler and their staff are excellent, seeing to our every need. The breakfasts have been delicious, and the room is very comfortable. Stephanie is friendly and professional, and makes the best drinks. Highly recommend this inn, it feels like home and is conveniently located. Will be back in July! Thanks for a great visit!
The Manor is beautiful and very well maintained. The breakfasts are second to none. Most importantly, the hospitality is unmatched! The Inn keepers are wonderfully helpful, assisting with activities, restaurant recommendations and more. We will stay again!
I wasn't really expecting what we actually stayed in. Starting with the good. The check-in was smooth, Stephanie was great although it seems like she pretty much has to do everything from late afternoon on. Todd was very friendly. The breakfast each morning was very good. Everything was very clean. Now to the room. The honeymoon suite was a good size and was clean. However there is a reason the bathroom is not on the website. You cant really call this a jacuzzi tub as no one would sit in there with a plastic shower curtain all over them no to mention it could only fit a small woman or child. The bathrooms are in serious need of remodel. A room over 300 dollars should never have a shower curtain. The lock to the room was janky and needs a locksmith to reset it. Poor Stephanie had to play it off and make sure we could actually open it on our own. The fire alarm goes off from the steam when you open the bathroom door, talk about obnoxious especially when you are naked in bed! They knew this and need to move it. Lastly the bed frame broke and dumped us on the floor at night. I am sure we highly upset the people below as we were moving a mattress and fixing a bed in the middle of the night. Again this was known as the bed frame is ridged with wire where it is broken. Buy a new bed frame. With a few updates this place could be really nice, but I couldn't recommend it as in to anyone. We stayed at Chateau Bourbon in Prospect which was fantastic and that is what I expected out of here.…
With credit to Todd, Tyler, and Stephanie , the food, hospitality, and attentiveness to detail are on par with the very best we have experienced here and abroad. From the gorgeous accommodations to the statuary and fountains, this felt like a touch of Tuscany in the heart of beautiful Bardstown. Our beagle was also most welcome too. Thanks again for a magnificent stay - 5 stars. We can't WAIT to Come back !
INcredibly beautiful room. Person who checked us in so very pleasant. Other guests were incredibly personable. My wife wants to come back every weekend although we are 400 miles away..do visit if here
...but Bourbon Manor was awesome! It was quiet, clean and comfortable, and all of the staff were friendly and competent. It's on the "main drag" thru town, but sits back just far enough off the road to make it wonderful. You won't find a better breakfast anywhere. You can easily walk to shopping and restaurants from the B&B or the staff will arrange an escorted tour for you.
We so enjoyed our stay at Bourbon Manor. Our room on the first floor was spacious and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. Because it’s on the first floor, it can be a little noisy, but people were respectful. Stephanie was charming and delightful as she checked us in. And can that girl make fantastic drinks. Todd greeted us every morning at breakfast in such a charming and inviting way. He catered to our every whim to make sure we had what we needed. Tyler’s breakfast was out of this world. It was delicious and beautifully presented. Todd said if I twisted Tyler’s arm, maybe he would share his recipe———and so I did.
1st b & b stay. I’ve always been a little uncomfortable with the whole idea. Boy was I wrong !! Todd and Tyler were incredibly gracious and hospitable. Beds comfortable and rooms perfect. But the breakfast !! The best ! And Sophia ! Best greeter in am !
If you are going to Bardstown, this is the place to stay! Stephanie, Todd and Tyler attend to all your needs. Tyler makes an amazing breakfast each day and often we wrapped our 'breakfast dessert' to go as we were so full. The sheets were amazingly soft! It is an old home, but we loved EVERYTHING about the place. We often sat outside and had some wine before dinner. And to think we tried to get into the Jailer's Inn and they were booked. Thank goodness we were able to stay here. Unlike another review, we did walk to and from town on several occasions, but then we are walkers. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!
Beautiful 200+ home. Clean with friendly staff. You need to understand you're staying in a VERY old home. Bathrooms clean and modern but outdated. Narrow stairs, creaky floors and lots of charm. Rooms were large enough to have several chairs for sitting. Location a little disappointing behind a gas station and not walkable to downtown. But an easy 3 minute drive. The breakfast was amazing and more than enough. I had my breakfast pastry wrapped to go.
