Booked 2 nights for the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Cost was $139/night for a room that smelled like an ashtray and a bed that felt like a rock. (Not even worth the regular rate of $65/night.) Mold in the shower and the lobby smelled like bleach. I would have cancelled a day or two before arriving and stayed elsewhere, but they... More

First, a language barrier had caused the reservation to be incorrect, so our party had no reservation. But they said they had rooms available. My business partner had been walking around while I was sorting this out and he called me over prior to signing for rooms. He wanted to see a room first. We saw two. Both smelled strongly... More

This is a very nice motel. Very clean and well kept. The owners are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. The rooms are nice and clean and the pool is very nice and well maintained. Excellent price too. It's location is perfect, very close to distilleries and other attractions. Also close to... More

Room musty smelling, carpet nasty, objects protruding up from floor. It is one step above rustic camping. Had to pay in advance. They keep your charge card information in a book with all of your information. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not stay there again.

The second worse hotel I've ever stayed in. The bathroom was dirty--pee on the toilet, brown dirt around tub, hair in the bathtub and greasy feeling floor. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The bed was hard and you could feel the springs through it. Regulars at the hotel sat on a bench outside our room to smoke so... More

We stayed here while visiting the Kentucky Railway Museum for the day with Thomas the train. It is located fairly close to this event. Our stay here was pleasant. It's an old motel with no frills, but it was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool while we were there. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Would stay... More

I've stayed here many times over the years and have always had a good stay. Not the fanciest place in town, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, but that isn't a problem for me.

You get what you pay for. It was very inexpensive yet the room was very clean. It was old and tired although with a nice HDTV. There were seedy looking people hanging out on the second floor. And the office smelled of cat urine. Skip the free breakfast.

My biggest complaint about this place was the musty smell of the room. On the upside, it's a great location, the rooms are big, and it's very reasonably priced. If you're on a budget, this place is OK for one night, but not much else.

We spent two nights here. $60.00 so my expectations were low but I was happy enough. Not your Holiday Inn Express even but the room was clean, the sheets nice, the towels with a faint smell of bleach gave me that clean feeling. We had a coffee pot, fridge and microwave. The ac/heater has a remote control so you can... More
