This place is amazing! It’s surrounded by nature and has a beautiful waterfall! The staff was wonderful, everyone is very nice! The food was delicious! They also provide great massages and reiki sessions! It is also very close to Dominical beach. I can’t wait to come back to this place!
Amazing Aventure! Our family took a bus from San Jose to Perez Zeledon (3 Hours) and then Uber to the Casacada Elysiana (45 minutes in 4X4 vehicle) Simple and a beautiful place. We feel like we were in Gillian's island. We love the place! Waterfall is a breathtaking! The trial to get there it is quite a challenge, muddy and narrow. Just have to be careful going down there, but it is WORTHY! Staff and volunteers are very friendly and so nice. Happy and relax place. Lorain, the manager was great, nice and very helpful. Maria, one of the volunteer was always quick to help us and make us feel comfortable. Food was great! I would love to go back!
If you are looking to truly experience nature, and to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this place is for you. I spent three nights in a lovely glamping tent, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. Cascada Elysiana is almost entirely operated by dedicated volunteers from all over the globe, and their aim is to preserve the environment and promote sustainable living. The waterfall is only a 10 minute walk away and the whole area is beautiful and tranquil. Special thanks to Lauren and Mac for taking such good care of me.
I loved my experience in the jungle here. I stayed in one of the glamping tents and loved being surrounded by nature, while still having a real bed and a fan!! Also the mosquitos were not bad at all which was a pleasant surprise. I loved the breakfast that was included. Thanks so much for an awesome experience :)
Beautiful place with tons of trails, great people, and a spectacular waterfall. There is also good wifi to get work done in the rainforest. Fast drive to the beach but I prefered the rainforest experience. The valley is beautiful as well with a place to catch and eat your own tilapia and other waterfall attractions nearby.
