This is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in.
Love the wood floors, (carpet always leaves something to be desired, in my opinion).
The lady at check-in was awesome (she actually was familiar with our little town in south Tennessee) and the young man in charge of the breakfast never stopped working, cleaning and restocking.

Oh my! I can't say enough nice things. This may be the cleanest, friendliest hotel that I've ever stayed at. It started when I walked in. I was greeted promptly by a very friendly front desk clerk. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The AC worked great. The shower had great water pressure. The refrigerator kept my left over pizza cold. The lighting in the room was great. Good TV with cable. There was a beautiful, clean pool. There was an exercise room, a computer in the lobby, free WiFi and free breakfast. Checkout was quick and again, very friendly. The parking was free and well lit. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.

We stayed in the Executive Whirlpool Suite. It had 4 rooms. Our room and the entire hotel were exceptionally clean and updated. The staff was very, very friendly. The free breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The pool room was warm and inviting. It even had an ADA assist lift, whirlpool, and sauna. Our room faced north towards a very clean large pond with some shady RV spots then on the opposite side a golf course with homes in the distance. It felt very private, secure, quiet, and relaxing. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with lots of seating. It had a good sized refrigerator with a separate freezer, a microwave, a coffee pot, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The spacious whirlpool in a separate room was just what I needed! The separate bathroom with a shower was very clean and spacious. The shower had good pressure. The separate bedroom had a very comfortable king bed with a second large TV and lots of comfy pillows. Our corner room had a large window in the living area and in the bedroom. A bag cart was handily available right inside the side door. They even had shoe covers in case your shoes were soiled. It's 20 minutes away from Sac and Fox Casino. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel for a small town, but was not impressed with the housekeeping or the "hot breakfast" advertised. Stayed in October 2020 for family visit. Was going to stay at Hyatt in Topeka, but family wanted me to stay closer to their home in Havensville, so changed plans to stay in Seneca as this hotel was recommended by family as nice,safe alternative to the "big city". (Side note, as I live in a metropolitan city, Topeka does not qualify as "big city" for me.) Paid a little more for this hotel in Seneca than Hyatt in Topeka with less amenities and not nearly as nice a room or the level of housekeeping one would expect from any hotel. Stay was for 5 nights; was not notified upon check-in that bed sheets would only be changed once during my stay and the room and bathroom and sink would not be cleaned until end of stay. On second evening of stay, upon returning to hotel in late evening and discovering sheets were not changed and bathroom and sink had not been washed, reported it to front desk. Was informed that when staying for over 3 nights, sheets changed on day 3 and bathroom and sink cleaned. Housekeeping must not have been informed as there was toothpaste and soap residue in the sink that was never cleaned during my entire stay. Gave up on reporting the housekeeping issues to front desk. As for the "hot breakfast", it was a microwave omelet similar to a Jimmy Dean or Eggslands brand, and the overall "hot" menu left much to be desired. There was a full size fridge w/freezer and microwave in room, so you can stop in one of the bigger cities/towns before arriving to bring your own food. Understand that this is a small town and most guests probably do not stay for long periods, but website should be clearer so that guests know exactly what to expect. Honestly, feel like the hotel is a little overpriced for what you get. However, I would stay again, now that I know what to expect and will bring my own cleaning wipes to clean the bathroom and sink daily myself.

Unless a guest has placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on their door, their room is refreshed daily. We will address your concerns with our housekeeping staff. Traveling through, Colorado to Ohio, we were lucky to obtain a room here, as there was a wedding event and many families here also! this is a Great place..we enjoyed the hot tub and the indoor pool, had them all to ourself! the room had nice wood flooring, no carpet, and the hotel itself, lobby breakfast area, is very clean and nicely done. Our room was very roomy and had everything you could need, refrig, microwave, etc.. we drove shortly down road to McDonalds and brought back food, we just wanted to watch TV and eat and relax after being in car all day. This has a beautiful outside area, if you want to sit out and enjoy the picnic tables and fresh air. The breakfast was awesome also..great fried eggs!! would be so good if I had made a sausage egg patty on english muffin..everything was there to do that..but I had sausage gravy and biscuits and they were delicious. the Staff we saw were all very kind and welcoming and patient with us! the cooks for breakfast were kind to tell us we could eat in the meeting room, cause the wedding party event had alot of family there. we appreciated being able to do that. Thank you for a very restful night and nice comfy beds and we will be back, cause we travel this way at least 2 times a year!!

This is our second time staying here as we also stayed last year. We have been taking 36 west instead of the interstate as it’s a more leisurely ride. This hotel is family owned and it shows. They actually care. Rooms are reasonable and they also have a camp ground beside a large pond. There is a dollar general right next door for snacks. Breakfast was excellent and is included. The fridge in the room was larger and had a freezer which was nice for my ice pack I carry for my insulin to stay cold. Room was quiet.

I have to admit I work for a hotel and I have certain expectations. I can honestly say that my expectations were met and satisfied. The place was nice and clean. The staff was polite, friendly and courteous. I have to give a shout out to the front desk girl April. She went above and beyond to help me and the other guests. She was working both the front desk and breakfast area. She was courteous, helpful and patient. She handled every person in timely manner and with respect. She was calm even when some guests were being unruly. Having been in her situation a time or two I applaud her dedication. I have seen people crumble in less stressful situations, she is true representation of customer service.

I stayed at this property the last week of January for work. I had about 5 bed bugs crawling around on the bed. I was speaking to a coworker the next day to find out they also had bed bugs in their room. My coworker was staying on the second floor and I was on the first, so not even close in proximity. This makes me concerned for how many rooms that have the bedbugs crawling around.

Tanya, I am sorry that you and your coworker found issues with the rooms you were checked into. I am very glad to see that you were both moved into different rooms and continued to stay with us for the rest of your trip! We do appreciate your business! I have worked at this hotel for six years, and I can assure you we do not take these matters lightly. I am an avid traveler and would only continue working at a well-maintained property that I could feel good about promoting! The Owners and Managers of the hotel wanted me to share the following response with you: "Bed bugs are a common problem in the hotel industry. We work constantly to eliminate and control them. They are brought into the property by guests. Unfortunately, pyrethroid resistant strains have developed, which sadly found their way into our hotel. We have changed our treatment methods to address the pyrethroid resistant strain. We put the rooms in which the bedbugs were found out of order for two weeks following the treatment to ensure that all of them were eliminated. All box springs have protective covers to prevent infestation. Our housekeepers and maintenance staff are trained to constantly be on the look out for bed bugs. Every hotel room is also sprayed with an insecticide that is safe for indoor use every eight weeks. We are sorry for the experience that you had. We stopped in this hotel on a road trip going out west. This hotel is a real find & I’d highly recommend it. The room was clean & comfortable. The lotion provided was awesome. The breakfast in the morning was great with a full selection. The English muffin with sausage & egg was better then what I get at most restaurants. The staff were friendly. Parking was plentiful too. I’d definitely stay here again.

The inside of the cabin had a warm wood interior. Very clean. The location was quiet, The beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Except for food. Cooking utensils, flatware, plates, bowls, etc. Plenty of clean towels. The rooms were spacious. View of the fishing pond and golf course were unobstructed. Free breakfast was good and plentiful. Front desk staff were very courteous and helpful.

We do not allow pets in the hotel. There is a veterinarian close by which does board animals. We can provide that contact information for you if you wish.
