We rented a cabin there. It was safe and relaxing. Only complaint was the cabins did not come with blankets or pillows. This was not listed anywhere and it made for an uncomfortable night. They are available to rent I found out when I asked, but seems odd a cabin would not include this. They have food available to Purchase and a little store if you forget anything. Bring stuff to float on the creek for extra fun! We will definitely go again.

Stopped in on way home. Clean bathroom and showers. Campground pretty clean. As others have stated real close to train tracks. You will hear 3-5 a night. You can see the train coming by the n my second pic. But we got the best sleep of our 10 day trip here. They have pizza delivery available and the staff was very nice. The WiFi toward cabins was poor. You can pay for better WiFi. Verizon service here is 4g. There are some neat campgrounds neat the creek that runs through the property. The creek looks very inviting on a warm summer day.

Great little getaway. Cute town. Peaceful area. There was a great spot to fish and play in the water. A train station that was fun to look at. Playground for kids. My two young kids had a blast. Bathroom was clean.

This campground was ok. The receptionist was nice and pleasant. It looks a bit rundown with several apparently full time residents living in old campers. The trains do run all night and are VERY close. There is a pretty creek and some nice grassy areas for dog walking.

We stayed 2 nights, intending to see the local sights. Unfortunately I don’t think we would come again. First, the pros: Campground is very neat and clean, with neatly mowed grass and level, graveled campsites. 30/50 amp electric is available with full hookups for RVs. The campground and sites are easy to get in and out. Lady in office was pleasant and helpful on phone and in person. A storm shelter is on-site and available to campers - almost needed that due to inclement weather. Campground has a nice, small playground. Price is reasonable. WiFi was good. Local tv stations available with our antennae. The cons: TRAINS, all night long, right on the other side of the campground road - 1st night there were 6 going by from midnight to 7 am and about the same the second night. I grew up with train tracks in our back yard, but nothing like this noise. I got little sleep. There is some truck noise from nearby I-70 but nothing like the trains. The creek might be an attraction during times with less water flow but I would certainly be alert if I was traveling with small children. Campground is convenient to Prairie Fire Winery (a Must-See!), but not much else.

This campground was okay and the managers friendly. We arrived about 9:30pm and had called to let them know we would be arriving that late. We found our spot and fell asleep when our heads hit the pillows; for about 1/2 hour! There were 6 trains within that hour honking arrival and departure and making all kinds of steel on steel noise. There were several more during the night. We didn't get much sleep... All I'm asking is that they let people know ahead that the train tracks our about 100' from some sites (ours). I am sure if you stayed long enough you would get use to it but not in one nite and we would have chosen a different campground knowing this up front.

We spent three nights in the Mill Creek Campground &RV Park just to relax and visit some local wineries and attractions. The campground has plenty of trees and large level sites. The walking trail is very good for the dogs and follows Mill Creek. The staff is very friendly and even offers made to order pizza and a nightly entree. We ordered two pizza's on our first night and it was delicious. There are trains but the noise was only occasional and passes by quickly. This RV park is good for passing thru one nighters or spending several nights. We definitely recommend Mill Creek Campground & RV Park.

We stopped for one night on our way through Kansas. The host was friendly. Our site was very long so our truck and trailer fit easily. The pull through site was convenient. The bathrooms and laundry were clean. The train is close and comes through often. It did not run between 10 and 6. While in the area, visit The Oz Museum and Yellow Brick Road. We took some fun pictures. Also, when on 70 west of the campground take a very short detour to see Rock City. It is easy to get to and plenty of room to park and maneuver a camper. We were glad we stopped to see rock formations we won't see anywhere else. This was also a great place for the kids and dogs to run and climb. Overall, we enjoyed our stop over at Mill Creek.

We stopped here for one night while going cross country. It’s an ok place. The office lady was very nice and the campground is ok. The only problem is there is a train track VERY close to the campground. I found this to be awful when they are going through all night. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
