The room was spotless, and the desk staff & housekeeping staff were courteous and professional. Breakfast included made-to-order omelettes (or scrambled eggs) with peppers, onions, etc., besides the typical waffles and cereals. The breakfast area has two rooms; the one where you order an omelette looks like a private meeting room, with comfortable chairs and better decor.

After my daughters out of state college graduation was cancelled, due to the Coronavirus, I started figuring out a Plan B on how to get her back home without airline travel. I had originally booked this hotel online for a different date. I thought I booked direct, but must have been suckered in by the popup after purchasing a one-way airline ticket. So in trying to change the date, all I ran into was trouble. I figured I just lost out on the prepaid rate. I then booked direct with the manager, Harry. He was incredibly kind and helpful. He did everything to help me get my money back, but was also unable to. He did, however, give me his business card, wrote down my name and email address and said that when my daughter and her friend drive back with the rest of her stuff, he would help out with the cost of the room. The room was very clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast, obviously, but they did put out grab bags in the morning.

The lobby is very nice, breakfasts were bagged due to ongoing Covid. It was fine, but they gave a banana everyday and that's only OK if you like bananas. We had a two queen bed room and it doesn't have much storage space. We hung some clothes, but our suitcases had to stay out. The water pressure exceeded other hotels, but the water didn't get warm until 5-10 minutes later (when you were ready to get out, lol). You have to specifically ask for more than one room "key" & you always need to make sure you have more than one because they quit working after one-two uses which was frustrating and embarrassing to keep going to the front desk for a new card. The beds & pillows were very comfortable, plenty of towels were provided, and it was very clean. We would recommend and stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel several times when attending the New Theatre. It always seemed fine. However this stay was completely different. The room had water damage with black residue on the wall most of it hidden behind a picture. The dispenser in the sower had no body wash or shampoo. The plentiful conditioner was certainly no substitute. In addition the Kleenex had not been replenished.
I realize the the pandemic has resulted in breakfast limitations but the take and go option was not a good substitute.
We will not return to this hotel

Elevators not working on the multiple days we were there. When we asked, differing explanations for cause and when it would be fixed. No explanation for why no pet friendly rooms on the first floor. Elevator not working became a bigger problem when having to carry our senior dog up and down the steps. Due to "full breakfast" in web description, expected a hot breakfast. Got a "grab and go" brown bag. No sign of the public areas (front entry, breakfast area, halls) being cleaned in the 3.5 days we were there. Partially used soap bar left in shower from previous guest. Non-skid mat off center in bathtub covering work needed. Stopper in toilet tank would not close. We adjusted the chain to stop the constant filling, felt cleaning staff or management should have handled as routine maintenance. Wi fi not secure on our equipment or on business center computer. Front desk staff speaking in foreign language to each other while serving customer (e.g. when experiencing problems in completing a front desk procedure). Building appears to have been a nice facility in the past. Staff and amenities do not live up to the standards of Best Western at this point. Good: AC worked, bed was comfortable, good shower pressure.

Where do I begin? False advertising on the amenities in our room, no toilet paper, room not cleaned beforehand, free breakfast was a hard egg only sandwich, banana and bottle of water, refrigerator didn't work and had an odor. The clerk's response to these issues was, "well maybe since we bought the Comfort Inn things have changed." Apparently so.

It was a pleasure staying here. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful any time I needed help with anything. And there really is always someone sitting at the front desk waiting to assist you. The room was clean and the decor is very pretty throughout the hotel. The amazing fresh-cooked breakfast options were just an added bonus!

Pleasant stay and convenient location near I-435. Rooms are no frill but comfortable and had the important basics like coffee maker, mini frig, comfy chair, desk and comfortable bed! Good parking, outdoor pool. We had our dog and we so appreciated a dog friendly hotel. Reasonable price for the area. The sack breakfast (dining area is closed) was the same each day- banana, granola bar, egg white, cheese, turkey sausage on English muffin or package of 2 sweet muffins and bottle of water. Adequate but got repetitive. Front desk staff were lovely.

Stay at your own risk at this hotel. They had charged $50 for incidentals and then refunded only $40. No one has been able to explain as to why the $50 was refunded. I only found out early because I went into my account to check on something and there was a charge for $50 and a credit for $40. You just lost a customer for $10.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The banana had turned brown and the muffin was really bad. I understand with covid you have to go bags but with the money you are saving from not having a hot breakfast you could at least spend 25¢ more on muffins by getting some good ones instead of the ones from the Dollar store.

Would not stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it

I was struck by how there are signs in the front lobby explaining how the staff is handling Covid, which included using PCP equipment, and yet I only saw 1 front desk person wearing a mask in the 7 days I was there. This stay was during the Omicron breakout. The rooms are also not well sound insulated - if a neighbor was watching tv (all night), I could hear it loud and clear. I had to wear ear plugs.
